The Rumpus Room / Re:Haiku maybe help?

Haikus make no sense,
They do not do anything useful
Please, stop this right now.

I'm just kidding, keep going.

If you can't get motivated to jog, just strap a big piece of steak to your back, go near some big, mean dog that isn't chained up.  I garentee that you will be running for quite some time.  Hey, it worked for Jean Claude Van-Damme.

I might as well post this little joke.  I have many drunk jokes, incase anyone wants me to post them too:

A good-OLE-boy staggered home late on New Years Eve after another evening with his drinking buddies. Shoes in left hand to avoid waking his wife, he tiptoed as quietly as he could toward the stairs leading to their upstairs bedroom, but misjudged the bottom step in the darkened entryway.

As he caught himself by grabbing the banister, his body swung around and he landed heavily on his rump. A whiskey bottle in each back pocket broke and made the landing especially painful. Managing to suppress a yelp, he sprang up, pulled down his pants and examined his lacerated and bleeding cheeks in the mirror of a nearby darkened hallway, then managed to find a large full box of band aids before proceeding to place a patch as best he could on each place he saw blood. After hiding the now almost empty box, he managed to shuffle and stumble his way to bed.

Morning, he awakens with screaming pain in head and butt to find his wife staring at him from across the room, and hears her say: "You were drunk again last night!!!"

Forcing himself to ignore his agony, he looked meekly at her and replied: "Now Hon, why would you say such a mean thing?"

"Well," she said, "there is the front door left open, the glass at the bottom of the stairs, the drops of blood trailing through the house, and your bloodshot eyes but, mostly....

...it's all those band aids stuck on the downstairs mirror!"

A rookie is all I'd ever care to be.

I've never posted drunk or talked on IRC while drunk, but I've woken up in some weird places after long nights of drinking.

- I once woke up in the driver's seat of my car in a 7' ditch in some backwoods in Ossippee, NH. (Actually, Ossippee is pretty much all backwoods.)

- I once woke up in some meat locker in the summer with snow pants, a full winter jacket, and a ski mask.  Some of my more sober friends remembered me saying something about being extremely hot, then leaving suddenly.  I don't know how I got in there without anyone seeing me.

- On a plane coming from Miami.  I woke up with a searing pain in my ass,  which was, apparently, a fresh tattoo.  I also found that all my money was gone, I had a new watch, a video camera, and a straw hat.  I guess I had a fun time, but I never found out how I got there, or what I did there.  That one will remain a mystery.

- I woke up in jail.

- I woke up with a new dog.

It's nothing compared to Gilbot.  Damn, soon we will have One Must Fall 2047 type robots, later used in combat.

Los Angeles was used in True Crime.  There was no way you could ever tell where the hell you were or where the hell you were going.  Rockstar, so far, has made all the cities used in the GTA series easy to navigate, so I don't doubt that it will be the same way in San Andreas.

It's good to see you back.  Maybe now there will be peace throughout the land of AGS, or just casual, justified bloodshed.  Either way, I'm off the hitman's list.

Cabal, I know he had nothing to do with RE, but there was always the possibility that the screenwriter wanted to continue that little legacy.

In just about all of the George Romero zombie movies (i.e. Night of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead), there seems to always be a leading black guy.  In Resident Evil, when I first watched it, I thought that would be the case, but I was happily wrong.

No, he made a game or two, as I recall.

Here's another fact:  Helm has not said "Rock out with your cock out" in these forums, as far as I can find.

Is that the background you are trying to use, or what it looks like in the game with the border sprites?

Atari.

Demo Quest.  Or the Space Quest 4 done in AC.

Learn Karate while you're out there.  It's nice to have ninja AGSers.

Don't eat many chicken donuts.  I hear those pesky, winged, ground-bound birds are never dead when converted to a fried pastry.

I tried an MPEG, and a WMV.  Same.  I have DirectX9.0b, and I'm running Windows 2000 Server.
#139
Yes.  It happened with an AVI file I made with flash.  Same stuff as mentioned above.

I'd like to say that Bush is not as dumb as everyone thinks he is.  I still don't like him, though.
