but if i failed all the question will i still ca continue the gameÃ,  Ã, ???

no problem as i wrote above, the lesson dont affect the game,
no matter how many notes are right.
you can play through, there is no situation where you can stuck.

thx helm for your true words, and the raised motivation to vote with 3 unfinished gamesÃ,  :).
#303
big thanks, Ishmael.
It would be pity, if the games are not available after the competition.

it depends on the game, but normally adventure games build there story like
a cycle and at the end all comes together and the game makes sense.
So if i dont vote for a good game, reasonable cause im not a good adventure player
(and im a very bad adventure player, with no patience) and cant go through, this is not fair to the gamemaker, so i guess its better dont voting - my opinion.

i can't vote without the walktroughs, cause i dont want to vote
when i have only finished one or two games.
#308
are public walktroughs planned for this competition?

the problem is the lack of translaters.
my english isnt good enough to make a translation for my episode.
so i asked in the adventure related thread, but get no reply.
if we could find some translators, it would be fine.

sorry hansa for abusing your thread.
thx for your help, last days.

unfortunatly i cant make an englisch translation in the next 3 days, so
he must play the german version of my episode for Maniac Mansion Mania.
But he should be familiar with it, i guess :-).

Im also highly recommend this feature, cause the windows tool is useless for me, it reorganize my desktop every time and this is very uncomfortable so i cant use it.

good idea, and funnily enough I played JamesBond right now, and i realize that it was based on 2ma2 open source game.
So i guess if 2ma2 didnt realeases the source for this platform-game,
James Bond never see the light of the world, or?
So it is good for the whole community when different open source projects are available,
this results in better games, as everyone must reinvent the wheel.

After playing both games, i have to say.

Thanks minimi for releasing the code, afterwards.
I like your game, its a very unusal idea and cool backgroundmusic.

Foz and Jaz: This is exactly the type of game, i had in mind as i make the rules.
Great atmosphere, great artwork and puzzles.
So im very disapointed that you dont want to give away the source, cause
I guess your game could be really very helpful for newbies, and not only for those.

Thanks for your games.  :)

I learned a lot from open source games, like Exile where i didnt copy one line of code exactly to my first AGS game, where the complete ags-source is also available at: http://www.virtual-illusion.com/
and which was the winner of last months competition.
The interesting thing about open source files is not to steal some codefragments
but rather get an overview how the things are connected and come together in an complete game.
my first idea was to make complete open rules, except that every designer must release there source files.
But i like robbery games since the days of "they stole a million" so i decide to combine them, which was afterwards a good idea, cause it seems that with the only open source rule, we didnt get one entry.
Thanks juncmodule i'm supporting the idea of an open source category.
Can't also understand why most of the people believe others take their ideas and make a millionseller with it ;).
