oil can:  Have you put fairy in the dark forest yet?  If so, go further through the forest and you will come out by a tent,  the oil can is there.

leaf:  It is on the floor in the dark forest.  This might be the leaf that you need to get the fairy to come with you?

termite maze:  Have you gone by the guy who is cooking?  climb up that vine and there are two holes that you will look in.  Find the termite hole first and talk to him...... You will need to get some things first before you can hear him and play the termite game......

Help needed

I am having trouble on the island with the lighthouse.
I have the gun with the gunpowder in it, no flint though
I also have scroll, book and shovel.  I put the light on and try to scare birds with gun shot but nothing happens....Am I suppose to shoot a bird?  Nothing is happening here, plus light goes off so fast.  A little step in the right direction would be appreciated.
Also about that plunger that is buried where the birds cross>?
Watch ground when birds cross and use shovel to dig it up?
I am missing something here.

I actually looked at the mouse in the inventory, then took it out and held it over the town and squeaked it..... Brain dead.
Anyway, thanks for all the help.... Got icicle, sun to guy, am now on island and remember from the hints and tips it said dont leave until you have accomplised everything.  I don't think I will be leaving for quite awhile......need the rest........

I have tried that holding the mouse down and it squeaks thing about 40 times already....... What am I missing??
I have the crystal from the igloo..... Is that what I need to capture the sun?   HELP   This is driving me crazy again.

You all said it is so easy,  Just go to village, look at squeaky thing in inventory, then put it on the village and make it squeak, holding down for about 10 seconds??  That is what I am doing,,,,Is it wrong?

I have tried numerous times to get that icicle to the house.  When I look at it in my inventory it says it is a slightly melting icicle.  I go through the window and it melts all the time.
I have the pipe on the stool leg.  I need this next step to get the fish memory and the megaphone to get the light source in the village.  I am so stuck.  Why is my icicle melting all the time.

You are in the wrong Bogs hints and tips.....It is the one in Bogs adventures in the underworld
But...... I will tell you how to get the knife...

You have to play that number game again with those two worms.  Do you have the oil can? It was by the tent in the next screen beyond the dark forest where you put the fairie.
You must have the oil can to play the numbers game and get squirted with oil because when you have the can, some of the oil gets in the can and then you use this on the knife by Kilroy and it comes out.

ok, I shot eye out of chicken on gate.  It went into the snow on the other side of gate.  I know I am suppose to get the bug to find it for me.... I go to bug area, do not cross water, and I cant put the nuts anywhere.  I go across the water, and give nut to bug.  But I still cant find branch that will take it.  The clues said leave nuts on tree branch and every screen until you come back at the gate.  One nut left, go back and give to bug.  leave (right side) when you come back all nuts gone.... Bug will be where I lost eye.  But this is not happening for me.... What am I doing wrong?

Also, I dont fly with feathers anymore.  I have the whistle.
I went to the igloo the long way, without feather, took icicle, and then used whistle and flew to purple house area.  As soon as I get through the window.....My icicle melts.

Thanks Wretched.  I am trying to get the eye now, along with fish memory, nuts to bug, etc. etc.    Everything is so changed and I have a hard time remembering what and if I did things.

Great game though.  It must be.  This is the third time I have started from the beginning..........I cant seem to give it up even though I say I am....

I am stuck at the same spot as you are.  I cant seem to get the icicle to stay cold, it melts as soon as I go thru the window.  Also, what village are you talking about?  I havent found that yet......Been to river styx but didnt know what to do there...... I read the hints but they are not working for me.
Also I go to lair after talking to guy cleaning gate and he tells me the eye is missing.... I go to lair and look, touch treasure, and Bog says I wonder if the chickens eye is in there, but it is not allowing me to play that game to find it.

thank you.  I didn't even realize that I had the chicken memory in my inventory.  The word seems to be Hewilts?
I never did a save when doing the race and dont want to do it over again, but go forward..... So now that I didnt say that word, does it mess me up in any way>?

I just lost my speech in the igloo.  It won't let me talk to that little blue thing......and last time I played this game, before I put the new version on, all I had to give him was the cat toy and flies and he was willing to come with me.  This time, he wants more?  What happened to my game?  Went back into a saved game and tried again and now my talk icon is back and he took the toy and flies.  I don't know,,,,this game is bewitched.  I think I have had it about now.  This game is so addicting, but I am saying Uncle to it.  Love it, but have to leave it....... Lots of luck to all of you playing yet........Can't wait to see who finishes it....
