ok. go pick up the cig butts in the room...and go back and talk to him and lie..gasp..and tell him you cleaned the room...then you have time to get a saw to get at the lock...good luck.careful...the cig butts are kinda hard to find..

Thank you, they were very hard to find.  Completed the game.  It was a cute game.  I am having trouble downloading the other Norbi games.  Taking too long and then one of them said it was corrupt.  So I don't know where it went, if it went somewherel

No I am still at the point where I am asking for help because the key got broken in cabinet and he wants me to clean up the room.  Help>>>>>

He doesn't give you the key for quite awhile.  Where exactly are you at in the game?  Did you short circuit the machine yet?  Are all the lights out yet???  Are the lights back on yet?  There are so many different places where he won't give you the key.

I have to clean up the room and then He? will help me.  I was opening up the locker and the key broke in it.  Has anyone played this cute game??  I see a vacumn cleaner by his feet, but the arrow doesn't point to it.  HELP    Thank you

My game is called ROBOTRAGEDY, and is the story of a little robot who can't go to the living room to see the show of Robotinna, a robotic singer our little buddy loves.

This is not the whole game.

Once he gets to the living room he sees on the TV that Robotinna has been kidnapped and then he goes out to rescue her.

I know the story is not original. First I was too afraid of the engine since I don't know anything of scripting but when I finished the part of going to the living room I realized the job I did wasn't too bad because I found my way around using the windows interface and most of all: imagination. I did a lot of animations and every thing Toby, the robot does, is animated -- from beaming up the objects he needs to cutting a fishing line.

So I thought, why leave the game so short when I can make it longer and better, and if with all this hard job I will make another game in one or  two years, depends of the acceptance of the first one, I decide it to go for a longer run. Both the escaping part and the rescue-the-girl-in-distress-routine are not originals, I know but when I finished the escaping part I didn't feel so strong as to let it go and make something new so I choose to blend it with the rescue part that I designed it to be the second chapter.

everyone seems to be enjoying your game.  I have tried to download it 3 times.  unzip it with winrar, and then when I click on icon to start game, my computer freezes up.  I have windows xp and lots of space left.  Has anyone else experienced this?

Rosie, It did not happen to me, I am not very technical but you have to have WinRar to unzip it. Maybe thats whats happening but who knows. Do you have WinRar? If not you can get it off the internet. I had to get it to unzip The Devils Shroud. Did you play that one, if you did then you have WinRar. Its just another extracting program like Winzip. Maybe some of the more technical guys on here will know more, but haven't seen anybody else have the problem of it freezing up.

I downloaded this game, and it took a really long time to download, then when it was finally done, I clicked on it and it froze my whole machine up.  had to reboot.  did it happen to anyone else??

  Finally got the darn screwdriver... hadn't picked up that cushion.  plugged the toaster into the tv.  Got the card with the bow and arrow and put the card in the toaster.  Now what??

Here goes.   This game doesn't make much sense.  You talk to all the guys, go back out to desk, talk to Petri out there, go back in and talk to guys again.  Look in your inventory and look at your friends book.  You will finally see that only one guy isn't in your friend book.  Look at him, compliment his hair, etc. conversation comes up, he still tells you to shut up or go away.
Talk to all the other guys again.  Especially the one sitting at the bar.  I asked when do the babes show up, He turns away and a script comes up telling you some info on now you have made all friiends and that is the end of the game. DUH

I'm at the same place as you are.  Go out and talk to guy at desk again and then go in and talk to the guys at bar but it still doesn't get you anywhere.  I don't know.......

Went to top of this forum and did a search on pester quest.  It doesn't seem like more than a five minute game, but I don't know what they are looking for to happen.

I come come here seeking answers to my problem, ok here it is:

I want to download The Secret of Carver Island and I click the link to download but it just takes me to either the old ags website or A website called aga or something like that. Everyone else seems to have no problem downloading it. And by the way, i have tried to download it from other websites. Any help you give me will be greatly appriciated.

Alright, I'm at the part where I'm gathering the items for the seance, I've found the blood and the personal item, but am missing the fire. Where can I find it?

I have a bad memory but I think it was in Simons bathroom cabinet? I mean the matches, which then you use to lit the candle.

for the seance you needed 3 things. You must have given Tilly the blood and the lit candle but did you give her a personal item (ring) I just loaded a saved game and when I gave her 3 items the seance started, they were all sitting around table and each of them presented her with a personal item and my curser changed to a ring which I had to give her again.

Yes I have given her my 3 items when I went to see her in the Travel Room.  I don't know about the others but they are all sitting at the seance table.  Nobody is speaking and like I said before, I cannot do anything but sit there. I cannot talk, move, walk.  I am told not to disturb the seance.  That is why I was wondering how long we are to wait before anything happens or if I am supposed to do anything else.   

You did call Percy to go get your ring from your house didn't you?  I gave her my blood in jar, and the lit candle when she was in the travel room, but gave her my ring when I was in the seance room.  Look again in your inventory to make sure you gave her everything.  Sorry, that is all I can think about because if you are in the seance room with everyone, it should start if she has all your stuff.

Sorry couldn't help you out last night, my mind was totally blank, I find when I have to run around talking to a lot of different people I can never remember the order things happen. I finished the game this morning, got all the points too.I was stuck at the very end but got my answer on completed games forum.
