How embarassing.... I never called Percy. That was the thing holding me back from going forward.  I had only called Miggs.  DUH....So now I am on the game again.

It seems like you have to keep going back and talking to everybody again. and I nearly forget what all I did already lol  Did you go back and talk to Alice to find out her toilet is not working, then you offer to have a look at it and you find something in simons room to fix that.

I keep going back to alice's room and there is nothing to say.  Also simon is still in his room and when I knock, noone answers I must have to do something before I go into Alices room.  Just tried it again and no talking.
What did you do after you found the key, rolled the rug back and found the trapdoor, called on the phone?  and what is this secret window in Bens room??? I see a window, but he doesnt want to open it.....woman in travel room doesnt want to talk

Everybody is still in their rooms. I have contacted Mr Miggs and Percy. How do you get the people to go to the travel room. I've tried knocking on their doors, talking to their doors. Only one I can talk to is Otto and Simon who is outside the padlocked door. I looked at my notes and I know I have to find a key either in the store room, stairwell or lobby but can't find anything. I did find scissors in storeroom. How did you get  M. Tilly to go to the Travel Room because everytime I go there nobody is there. Not doing very good with this one at all

I seem to be a little stuck. Everybody's in their room except for M.Tilly, who's in the Travel Room. I already told everyone to go to the travel room but nobody (excpet for Tilly) has gone yet. I've already found the trap door and called the professor, but nothing has happened. I've been wandering aimlessy for a long while now >_<

So funny that we are all looking for Joyce.  I emailed her and she will try to find some time to come online tonite.  She was busy at the moment.  WE ALL Need JOYCE.....Percy is the man who gave you that piece of paper you have in your inventory with the phone number on it to ring him up if you need him.  After you find the trapdoor, call him.  Then I am stuck.

Well I must be the slowest one here.  I am stuck in the beginning.....What is the number to call Professor?  I tried 020-7428-4800 but nothing happens.  Door is locked, Everyone is in their room except for the one guy who stands by the locked door upstairs.  HELP    Thank you

I had completely missed the metal box in the middle of the smut spot, I had looked at that spot so many times too. So I was able to go on and finish the game. Thank you

Now its all coming back to me.  Yes, the box by the spot was transparant and I didn't even know it was there until I put my cursor over the spot and box came up.  Thats what I did in the inventory, but I didn't remember doing it.(lol)

I guess I am braindead right now too. I have made the cook slip so hes sleeping. I have filled the bucket again. I couldn't pick up a rubber glove in the closet, think it said I didn't need those. So I don't have a clue what I am doing wrong because my antenna and battery definitely won't combine.

I have this awful habit of deleting the game as soon as I finish it, otherwise I could go back to one of my saves and try again to see what I did.  Sorry.  It is almost 1am here now and I have to get to sleep. Watching my grandson tomorrow.

I just tried it again and it definitely says they don't fit together. I put antenna on battery in inventory and also put battery on antenna but they don't fit!!  I thought maybe I had to talk to somebody again but all Melanie says is lets find out what the battery means or something like. Think I am gonna give up on this

I know I couldn't take anything off the shelves until I had the receipe and had spilled the water and solution on the floor to make the cook slip.  I wonder what made my two things combine?  I am so braindead sometimes, but I know that I was stuck so I started putting things together in my inventory and all of a sudden I got a receipe.  I think I also got a rubber glove in the closet?  Maybe that got combined also>>> Did you try taking anything else in the closet?

Yep I have antenna and battery, I tried putting them together and it says they don't fit. I also can't open fridge or take anything from the shelves or cut the boots up. I am doing something wrong aren't I lol

I know I put the two together in inventory, I was surprised when I went back in and the battery and antenna were missing and a receipe was there instead.  I thought something was wrong with the game.  Try it again.  Put antenna on battery.

Did you pick up an antenna in the broom closet whre the pail was?? Did you use the lightbulb in thesocket to see what was in the closet?  I think It was in the trashpail in closet.  You do have the battery in your inventory>?   For some reason I put the two together in my inventory and it made a receipe.......Try that.
