I couldn't help but notice how small that door is on the left.
Also I didn't like how the base of the building where the left door is, is almost in a straight line with the horizon.

I was just messing around and this is what I came up with.  I used the large jaw version that Matti posted.

I removed the dark mouth on both views, and the dark ear holes on the front view.
Tried to give him a bum chin.
Also decreased the width of his neck.
Changed his hair around a little.
Removed dark lump on cheek in side view.
Changed front of his collar to match other collar.

You guys are rude.

tsk tsk tsk

Anyway.... I was also quite bored and thought I'd help out with this Counterstrike situation here.

Everything in your picture has this almost grainy texture (from the original sketch, or from photoshop touch ups later on), except for that brick wall.  The wall looks good the way it is... but it doesn't really match the rest of your background.  Looks almost flat like it's wallpaper.

Other than that, the roofs angle was a little odd.  Looks like the house is really narrow (from front to back).  But you already mentioned you won't be touching the roof at all.

I've always enjoyed your style and it's always nice to see more of your work.

Nice bubbly hands for the evil german fella.

I know with your style, you usually don't put bubble hands on your characters.. but YOU SHOULD! :P hehe

That sucks Andail.  Damn punks.
Aren't you a teacher?  Why are you driving around in a 500 â,¬ car?  8)

Domino, feels great once you don't have to hunt for a car anymore doesn't it?

I'm really getting the hang of driving a standard now.  I've had if for a week and a half and I'm already installing the trailer hitch.  It's funny, the name of the hitch is called "Insta-hitch".  But it has hardly been instant.  I've probably spent almost 5 hours just to fight 2 bolts into the frame.  The car is made with 6 holes and nuts welded on the inside of the frame.  In theory all you have to do is bolt the hitch to the frame with the 6 bolts.

If only it were that easy.  The nuts are completely rusty for some odd reason; considering the rest of the undercarriage isn't rusty.  I couldn't get a wire brush in the hole, it's too small.  So I kept spraying them with WD-40 and kept tightening a few turns, and loosening, then I'd repeat over and over.

I gave up on the second bolt.  I was rummaging through the old man's garage and noticed a mini torch can.  So I just heated the frame and voila, the bolt easily made it's way through.

I had to stop early.  Bugs were starting to eat me alive.  So tomorrow I'll know how to get the rest of those bolts in.  Can't wait to start towing the sea-doo's around with a standard! ...... ok yeah..... I'm nervous as *uck!  But I'll get over it.

You got the pirate outfit thing going on there.

Thank the gods, no more car searching!  It's OVER!  I was getting so stressed out, when I found this car, I said screw it and just bought it.  I hate spending money!  I'm a big saver, so I'm really nervous until I get this car on Tuesday.

I went with 72 months (6 years).  Only because it's an open loan.  If it wasn't an open loan, I would have went with 2 or 3 years.  Whatever extra money I put into the car payment goes towards the principal = less interest in the end.

It's a 5 speed!  Now I'm gonna have to practice towing two sea-doo's with a standard.

I'm lovin' it how all the seats fold down.  I'll be able to load this puppy right full!

OK, but what if your audience doesn't agree that its stupid?

I know some gun owners who would want to carry box cutters onto a plane.  ;)
They must be American.  lol I'm only joking.  ;)

Like I said, people have flawed logic (including me).

There are hundreds of ways to kill people.  A gun just happens to be the most efficient way of doing so.  Just point and click, you don't even have to get close to anyone.  Why it's legal to own the item which is the most efficient way to kill someone, just boggles my mind.

Actually glorifying the police in movies can have a very positive outcome.  If the police look like super heroes, are you really going to push your luck into doing any illegal activities?  (But it's also bad for the population who believe they can rely on the police -- like in your situation)
Also look at CSI, if they get viewers to believe they can catch you by the whiff of your fart (joke), you'll think twice about doing that illegal act. (But it's also bad for helping the criminals prepare for their heist or what-not... "Remember gloves...")

It wasn't supposed to be mind-blowing at all.  I'm just trying to battle stupid pro's with stupid pro's.

I'm entering this argument quite late.  I feel anyone who is trying to back up the second amendment with half-assed excuses; by saying a gun is good for 'protection' or to 'make at ease' etc  has pretty flawed logic.

Here's a different view of your flawed logic (this is in the same context):
I think everyone on airplanes should have the right to bare box cutters.  You never know when a terrorist is going to be on that plane.

This way the people can out number the terrorists.

I hope that helped you realize how incredibly odd some of your arguments sound.

Also on a personal note.  I've never wanted to own a hand gun for any reason other than 'this gun would look awesome on my wall'.  I never felt I needed one.  I've never felt any threat to the point where I feel I need one.
Canada does have a few deaths by guns a year, but not often.

I've been to the USA many times before, and any store I went into, which was Walmart and many many pawn shops, all had guns on display.  They were either behind glass counters or hanging on a wall.
I've never felt such an unexplainable urge to want to purchase a firearm just because it looked so damn cool and tempting.  It's probably just the power that movies and shows give to guns.  And the fact that it's right there, in my face, saying "BUY ME!".

Anyway, I believe USA should start slowly at eliminating guns from the population.  The first attempt should be to have it illegal to display guns in any store.  All weapons should be securely in storage away from any customers, young and old. If you want to purchase a firearm you must browse through a catalog displaying what the store has in stock.  All weapons should be in a concealed brown box with no advertising displayed.  Any person opening the box prior to purchase should be fined.

This way, there won't be any impulse purchases or any brainwashing that guns are Ok and Safe; "shit, they are being displayed in Walmart, they MUST be safe."  Buying guns are like buying patio furniture in the USA.

This way there won't be any revolts or angered people.  Guns would still be part of your crazy amendment, just not as visually accessible.

The only games I could get my mother to play when I was young, was Super Bomberman (SNES) and Air Fortress (NES).
#2633
No way.  The glare on the S is what makes the title.

I'm not liking the broad range of colors on this background.  The whole image looks like it was saved as jpg several times after each edit.  Too many stray artifacts.  Even on the black of space, you have several shades of dark gray.

His face needs some improvement, but I'm not the best at drawing people, so I'll leave that for someone else.

It's a shame I couldn't finish the last small section of my game in time.  I'll still try to get it finished even though the competition is now over.
#2635
I'm hoping to have my game fully complete by tomorrow night (the 25th by my time).  We'll just have to wait and see.

I'm in desperate need of someone to compose some music for my MAGS game.
Since this months theme for MAGS is 'Evil', I'm hoping for a couple looping midi tracks with a low, dark catchy beat.
If you're interested, give me a shout via PM.  I'll show you the current backgrounds, tell you what's going on in the game, and then you can figure out if this is the job for you. (I don't want to spoil the game too much by showing the backgrounds in here, since there will only be 5 backgrounds)

The competition ends on June 25, so I'm hoping to find someone before then.

Competition is now over.  Also Thanks to Domithan for creating some music for me.

Good!  Some competition.  Has anyone else started working on a game?  Or is anyone almost finished one?

I've got 2 more backgrounds to draw, some animations, and it'll be all programming from there.
I'm also in need of some composer to miraculously pump out some tunes for my quick game. :P  I'll try posting in that 'in need of help' thread.

7 days left? hmmm
I've been pushing hard on a game, not sure if it'll get finished on time.  We'll just have to see.

Shouldn't there be a sort by rating option (or have I missed it)?
When you sort by rating it would be nice to have the 5 cups at the top and the 1 cup at the bottom.

I was sticking my hand down tree stumps rather than just walk past trees trees trees.

I've never played, nor have I seen anyone playing (other than in my old school seeing the table of geeks in the cafeteria -- damn they would get excited while playing that game).

But is it really that detailed where it explains where you are and what you're doing, and the possibilities of what you 'could' do with the roll of the dice?  Or was that just an exaggeration?
