No, I'm talking about everyone complaining and saying "But we already know AGS Script". Working with Java or AGS Script would be exactly the same, assuming you built the appropriate framework to match that of what Chris has already made. Then there's the additional things Java can do, that the AGS Script lover can forget about and just do what they already know if they're too afraid of something more powerful.

I don't see many differences between Java or AGS-Script. Aside from Java being much more powerful and having everything AGS should have. The only real breaking part would be Object (it wouldn't be able to use that name anymore). And the enums having to call the Enum class instead of just the enum type.  Eg: eDirection.Left

I hope you put more energy into your game than you did your recording. Zzzz
Were you playing chess while watching tv while doing this recording?

I'm halfway through that MST video on YouTube. It's a terrible movie. And I remember MST being much funnier when I was younger.
I doubt I'll be able to look at Pumaman's avatar now without being reminded of that terrible movie.

A shadow under them should help make them look apart from the grill.

The video is funny. Good luck with this.

Oooo I want to make a suggestion! Interview Vince about Resonance.
Do it! I demand this. My foot is firmly down.

So... Are you done yet? Where's the interview already? Waiting...  >:(

arcatact what do you mean?
Those blasted arcatacts and their confusing trade. Being a programmar and scripting is much easier work though.  :-D

Edit: And yes, being serious here. As Khris mentioned, Ig, you're asking a broad question. Instead of asking a few simple questions that you can't find in the manual or using the forum's search, those would be easy to answer. Using Khris's analogy: we're not going to tell you how to build a house, but we'll give you a few pointers on how to hold a hammer.

What I did for JoI was having the active inventory item change to a gray darker inventory graphic. That way it would be understandable that the dark graphic is now the item you're currently holding. I believe the Ben There, Dan That games did this as well - plus many others I'm sure.

Then if you clicked the item on itself, it deselects the item. Same with right clicking. I believe I even turned off the hover description while over the currently held item in your inventory window.

If you actually wanted it to remove from your inventory, the easiest method is you could simply do what Monkey suggested, or code your own inventory window. If you were to code your own, I would use a separate GUI for the inventory window along with however many buttons you need that'll fit your custom inventory window width (plus extras if you have a scrolling effect with the buttons moving smoothly left or right). That way you could actually have a cool transition when you're scrolling. Or when the item is removed or grabbed, you could have the items move together.

The blank space being the removed item, having the items around it move nicely into each other.

It would definitely add a beautiful touch to your game.

I'm loving the ending 4 minutes. Very engrossing.

I used to like IE as well... until years ago when actually felt like moving on and trying something else.

I love talking to computer illiterate people and asking what browser they use.
Them: "Oh I use Google"
Me: "So you're using Chrome?"
Them: "No, I use Google. Google is my internet"
That's when I realize they merely have Google set as their home page and have no idea what a browser is and likely using the Google search to punch in URLs.

So.. does that mean the chips are useless and cannot be fixed?

Andail: I'm loving those screenshots. Nice bookshelf and fish tank.
Progz: Those characters are awesome. I'm wondering what type of RPG game it could be for.

It definitely is a terrible design to have the viewframe change after you run through your scripts and before drawing. I've had to deal with this as well and it's not fun.
