Can you PLEASE tell me where you downloaded it from?

Can somebody tell me how to get out of the first room ??!! I'm sure it's really simple and I'll fell like an idiot when I find out what it is.I can't think of anything that I haven't tried.

Well, you should deal with the Rope and Barrel first ... That's why Act I is called "Get Off My Back ...", here is how:

If you noticed there is a scratch in the upper metal stripe, now make sure that you are facing the door to the side -so that your hand is close to the scratch- and use the Ring with the Barrel. -try it when you are facing the left side of the screen and you'll get a message saying you can't-

After scratching the metal stripe, make sure that you are facing the broken mirror and then Interact with the rope! -Hold your mouse over the rope and then click the hand icon- ...

Besides when trying to reach something that you can't reach and the game tells you "I can't reach that!" then it's not a program error.

If you get stuck again let me know!

I think itprobably nothing technical related to AGS, just post it in that game's thread in completed game forum.

Did you unzip the contents into a folder properly?
(You know, just double clicking within a ZIP file won't work.)
Did you check if the download was complete ? (The file should be ~40MB according to the website.)

Ã,  Ã, Thanks for the reply, that's the problem it won't unzip.It just comes back corrupt file,script error? I know the file was supposed to be 40MB but it only downloaded 27MB?? I tried downloading it twice and it did the same thing twice.

Every time I download the game and try to open the file it comes back invalid script or corrupt file and something about a disk??

Im stuck......

Thanks for answering, one problem is the sign with the backwards "k" that needs to be fixed with the crowbar.Is it the sign next to the pig? My sign doesn't have a backwards "k"?? Now what Ã,

   FOUND IT !! The flat wall on the left,third row up from the bottom,small brownish brick,use eye,use hand,go back to the left and there's a door !!!The chain mail is for fighting.Thank you for the help with the pills !!  J.
