It largely has to do with publishers, we can explain why we're doing things a certain way with "see! we asked people!".

Thanks for the input so far, for everyone that took the survey and for everyone who posted questions and comments. The AGS community is very much like many other communities where people gather for fun to share in what they enjoy, I think it's a great way to share ideas and to gain experience for anyone hoping to join the ranks of the disgruntled masses toiling away under the tight deadlines of studio pressure.

We have a pretty solid idea of what we want to do, we just wanted to get some input from adventure gamers, it doesn't mean we're going to read over the survey and make sure every little point on there is met until we have this Frankenstein creation based on a general survey.
