That is quite easy to do. I'd go into more detail but I can't in this part of the forum!

Looking forward to seeing how many people participate!
Good to know! I'll start a topic on it in the AGS Support forum when I get to that stage. Now I can get started on my game with that element in mind n.n hope it works out! I will keep everyone posted on my process. Cheers! 8-)

Since the theme is Friendship I thought it'd be really cool to have the friend tag alongside the main character throughout the game similar to Educating Adventures with Girl and Rabbit. Or would that be way too complicated to impliment for a first timer? Just wondering before I start fleshing out the concept  :X I've only actually fiddled around with the AGS program for a few days now.

Yay! Super pumped to get started :D i'm a mega noob at AGS though so I hope my entry is playable :-[

I'm glad to hear that there is at least one person who's willing to participate in October MAGS (Oldschool_Wolf and I've set the theme for this month, you see) :).
Awesome! Can't wait :-D

Eagerly waiting for October MAGS o3o *dances*

Yeah furry controversy aside I'd totally draw a harem of animal girls snuggling each other on a unicycle if I could easily bank 200$ on it XD

Seriously, like right now, just hit me with it. *plugs in wacom*

I'm really hoping I'll be able to join in next month's MAGS. Hope the theme can some how be relevant to Halloween XD I miss trick or treating ;3; but i'm up for anything inspiring, really. I'm just gonna sit over here and wait patiently, don't mind me. 8-)

I figure, like with other monthly competitions (ie, NaNoWriMo) there'd be a set minimum time for demo gameplay, maybe 10-15 minutes? I have no idea XD I'd like to hear what others think though. Admittedly, i'm all really new to this myself. :/

Since there is so much interest in the theme and with all these other competitions going on, maybe you can get this month's MAGS extended to next month? Or would that violate the rules?

Yeah I see where you're coming from and I kinda second that. However maybe if they just tweaked the competition to being 'create a demo in a month' rather than an entirely completed game. That way they don't have to extend the deadline and people can put more time and effort into the art, the coding, the story, and the puzzles etc. If the participant(s) win or a lot of people show interest in their initial demo(s) then they can decide from there to finish it at their own pace. Eventually producing something of better quality. But then the true spirit of this as I understand it is simply to gain practice and honor deadlines, so I probably shouldn't be over thinking it this much XD

Regardless though, i'd eventually participate in MAGS as it stands now anyway. Despite the obligation to rush production and sacrifice quality it seems like loads of fun for what it is :)

Saltwater Taffy is right, it is indeed Born of Hope.

Woohoo! I was so unsure at first, it's been a few years since I've seen it XD

Bards will write ballads of my obscure movie knowledge ;3;

Okay, this one should be a lot easier! ;p
