Well, I have a job right now but it's just my high school job.

As for after college, I hope to enter the video game industry or the movie industry. I'll probably also write a book or two, but I don't expect to make too much money from them.

If not that, I'll probably become a cop or security guard, because all those "career tests" give me results in security.

Fear.

Mwuahaha.

I won't post anymore from my game until I finish it.

The first one was kind of... strange. I like the second one a lot though.

Good job.

Reminds me of The Neverhood for some reason. Damn, I loved that game.

Well, I live in Hawaii and there's a lot of hot Japanese girls here. American-Japanese.

So move to Hawaii, instead of Japan.  ;D

You could probably just buy the head-case from eBay, and then get English copies of all the DVDs.

General Discussion / Re:Music & related Videos

http://www.pleix.net/films.html

Go there, and watch FUTURESHOCK PRIDE'S PARANOÏA. Also, watch E-BABY, PLAID ITSU, and BEAUTY KIT.

They're not really music videos, but they're short "films" with music. And they're really good, and they have good meaning (well, the four I recommended do). I'm not really sure who makes them, but they need to start producing commercial things...

Well, in the game, he'll be in his room and there'll be plenty of things that show he is a clown. At the time, he isn't in his true clown dress.

Critics' Lounge / Feb. MAGS Characters

These are for a MAGS game, so I don't want to put too much effort in to 'em. But I still want to know what everyone thinks...

Mann, the main character. Strong, but with a kind heart.

Moe, the clown who will help Mann.

A zombie.

Well, I've started to work on my game that I currently call Smile! I'm pretty sure that'll be the final title, but I might change it.

Here's the story:
In 2008, a deadly virus emerges on Earth and sweeps through the whole of Earth. The virus poisons its host, and turns them into Zombies. The inhabitants of Ags, a far away planet, have been in a secret "agreement" with the governments of Earth in which Ags extracts raw materials from Earth while promising not to harm the humans. Due to the Zombification of the humans the "agreement" is now void, and the inhabitants of Ags are preparing to invade Earth and eradicate the Zombies and claim Earth.

You play as Mann.

Mann is an inhabitant of Ags, and his (and your) mission is to establish a secure landing base for your people, and kill any Zombies you come across. However, you discover something about these Zombies...

Although the story is rather deep, the gameplay will be very short. I'm still working on designing puzzles. I'm actually having a hard time with. I'm guessing there will probably be about 5 or 6 rooms total though. The game will give a very nice message, but I don't want to ruin it.

Over the weekend I went out with this girl and we saw The Butterfly Effect. It's a really good movie, but extremely freaky.

I also made $170 in 11 hours of work.

Right now I'm working on a small game for the February MAGS Competition, while listening to Subway to Sally.

It looks awesome! I hope you finish it.

Can you give us anything on the actual storyline?

I actually thought of an idea for this, that could be turned into a children's type game (if you used green blood for the zombies, or something). I'll try to make it, but if I can't then I'll give anyone my idea if they want it (and are willing to make it a nice little game).

The title as of now is Smile!

There's also one thing that bugs me, and that is the belt buckle. It appears to be resting on the left side of his waist. I don't know about you, but that's not where I rest my belt buckle at. Usually it's found on the mid-front of the waist.

I just realized that it could also be a belt loop, where the belt rest. If so, then I suggest adding another one toward the rear, to make it more obvious.

That's another really nice looking character. He has a lot of... ummm... character to him.  ;)

My character artist draws in a similar style ( example ) and he also has trouble animating...

Try reading this: Tutorial

I hope that helps. Otherwise, you could make your entire game, show off all the details, and hope someone would be kind enough to animate all of your characters.  :o

Call it Silent Mountain. Mwuahahaahah.  ;D

Hahaha. That was so funny. I actually liked the intro, and the end song. The graphics were great too, but they need to improve on their combat system.  ;)

You're 17 and you ride a bike to school? Hahahah. Get a car and a license, and drive two chicks to school.

I have cable, but I'm in Hawaii and I have a firewall so sometimes it's really slow. On the internet, I get about 350kb/sec. On P2P programs, I get crap. Average is about 40kb/sec. MP3s are the only thing that go fast, but those are illegal.  ;)

If you want to keep him in the bear costume, it could be really hard to come up with a storyline. Not impossible, but difficult.

The best would be to come up with something that happens directly afterward. Such as, like I said, running from the cops, and then possibly returning to remove evidence. And then from there, maybe we could see the lovely man under the costume, and he could go further on more quest (such as finding a job), if you want the game to be larger.

1. Changed black outlines, to fit background style more.
2. Shortened fat lip on bottom.
3. Added some details to the beanie.
4. Made the arm shorter.

1. Combined the original image with Bernhard's paint-over. Thanks, Bernhard.

By the way, I did these edits. The character artist wasn't around to change them. He'll have new characters up soon, but right now he's sick so he isn't working.
