Critics' Lounge / Girl Flashing

I'm sorry, I meant: Girl composed in Flash.... and its a little girl, you perv.Ã,  :P

Anyways, any comments on this character. I have the first rendition, which I don't really want crits on, but the second one would be great.

First one, done with the pen tool with my wacom awhile back. This will be a good example as to why better art is not only done with a tablet. (If you agree)

And after following a tutorial, I brought her to a whole new level.

Anything to say? I'm pretty happy with her.  This is going to be used in a little thing for ScubaChic, kinda like others here who have done games for their ladies.

I mean, really..... really like Fountain Pens. So much that an obsession to find an online forum to talk about the world that is Ink.

Well, hop on over to the Supply Closet Unlocked. http://www.livejournal.com/community/goldstars/

Here's a sample of their love for their pens:
"Nice to find a community where there's an appreciation for fountain pens, among other items.

I own a 1995 edition Waterman, a Cross, a vintage Parker (with the first of the rubber ink bladders, it was my great grandmother's pen), a newer Parker and a 2001 edition Waterman."

...freaks.  But when they find out that there is an uprising in webpage hits from a certain page (here) they may make a post about these freaks who cant let go of 1990's adventures... which are sooo dead.

(seeing as how DOTT is Adventure related, I would assume this post is okay here, if not, a quick move to the GenGen is fine)

A site dedicated to collecting and displaying all things related to the Maniac Mansion games, and Zombies Ate My Neighbors games is now out for browsing. Its not the prettiest site out there yet, but its good just to get out the site. There has been a lacking of a home for Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle information for some time now.Ã,  I have put together some new stuff and collaborated with the old sites to bring you a first edition of Maniac Zombies.Ã,  If you haven't already skipped ahead to the link, you may do so now.
Maniac Zombies - Chainsaw Hedgemaze Massacre

A new layout and look for the site is in the making, and hopefully I will be accepted into the Mojo community with the site.

Enjoy!

I was wondering if anyone knew their way around JavaScripting to help me find the way to save these 8 movies to my harddrive. I've been trying for about an hour now, and getting discrouaged.

Anyways, heres the page:

When making walkable areas and walkbehings, sometimes, I've got ropes and such that would be a whole lot easier to draw in the areas with the pixel tool. I'm pretty fond of working within ags, and not importing masks, and the line tool is a bit odd anyways. I've got my windows magnifying tool, and a pixel color tool would be great.

How do others feel about this?

In this thread, we discussed the idea of putting neat little icons in either our signiture, or somewhere near our name, to help others find those who are willing to help.

http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=3419

I think it was a good idea. Yes, I believe in the Classified thread we have now, but I think the little icons [lost to the internet] should be brought back as well.

General Discussion / Mini-Mittens '04
Fri 05/03/2004 07:32:25
Ok, I'll be going to New York City this Saturday for the whole day. I know where Mittens is being held, its like 6 hours away, but hey, its the same state, so I'll be wearing my mittens and drinking my starbucks out of a blue mug in preperation for this summer.  it had better be warm.  :D

I'll be going on the NBC studio tour and on a movie studio tour. I'm excited, I'll be touristy and taking pictures, and if I see any AGS'ers I'll Mitteneer with them.
Just wondering if anyone else was in the area.

I have taken all the ol' LucasHacks files and put them up on my website over on freewebs....which means, go easy on the downloads. Heh, just kidding, but seriously, I know a lot of people that have trouble finding these downloads. I don't have time today to finish the descriptions for each one, but I will when I get time this week. If anyone wants to help out and write mini-descriptions for them, be my guest.

http://www.freewebs.com/lucasstyle/downloads.htm

I know this won't help the entire community, but anyone I can help, is great in my case.

General Discussion / Xbox Live Players?
Thu 19/02/2004 08:34:29
Any one out there playing Xbox live games? Whats your screenname? Maybe we could play a couple games online together. Its taking my friends long enough to get them to sign up for Live (waiting for Halo 2) so I need some new friends... heh.

This reminds me of the movies my friends make, with us blowing up fireworks and Army men.

Critics' Lounge / 1920's Background

Here's a beginning color version of a previously outlined picture I have done.  I know there is no shading and I can do better on colors, but I thought I'd post it since I'm on my way. And I'll fix the sidewalk over on the left of the car plus the line above that follows the wrong perspective line.

God, I hate JPG conversion.

Tonight, in the USA at least, on Spike TV, the Video Game Awards are on, hosted by David Spade.  The first thing off, they announced that Madden 2004 won game of the year.  I never thought a sports game could win game of the year, especially over games like Splinter Cell, and such.
or other adventure games. I'll keep you posted on other game winners, as they happen.

This is an unconventional award show. They annouced the game of the year before the host, David Spade, even took the stage.

The *real life* DOA volleyball girls were there too...  ::)
