The iMuse for SCUMM, oh wait. That wasn't me, that was just a dream.  Don't you all just see code in your sleep after coding all night?

Nice topic Squinky. perhaps this could lead to others bringing up easier ways around brought up problems

but when i get down to the bottom of the page,....
it says type in your current password.

the password input should be at the top of the page, like the 4 field down, the one at the bottom is actually 2 and contains if you want to make a new password, and if you hit submit without typing the pw at the top, then it may give you that message

Every animation frame will need to be as large as the largest x width value and the largest y value... say, you have three frames

1
50*40

2
45* 34

3
60*50

all three would need to be made on a canvas with 60*50 and then align them accordingly

If this Phil is evil, he must have a goatee.

What easier way is there to distinguish?  Nothing.

he said urban define, so i assumed that that meant the same

Well, when you do get to me, I'd probably be the guy that comes in and orders a milk, and then theres a pause of everyone looking at me with large eyes, cause I don't drink, and that could lead to hilarous circumstances... like "Who spiked my root beer?" ;)

Aylnn, just resize it.

and as for mine.  its just me, but dont let the picture fool you. I'm not really a cartoon.

They probably have drains in the floor so they can hose down the place if the saw blade starts to splatter.

yeah, fR33 pR0n works much more sufficently, especially on the games in production page.  :P

Yeah, well, we're American's and you know how pompous we can be.  ;D

Wow, I'm number 8. I'm flattered to be put on.  I was going to try my hand at copying the style of the previously added characters in this post, and I think I can produce something very similar for myself.  I'll repost after my soccer game.

General Discussion / Re:CJ is not Jesus

Now, I am more of an evolutionist than a Christian, but I really resent the fact that if there is a heaven, and I don't practice praying much, *I would think that God would get tired of us asking for things all the time, if he has a plan for everything ,then what good would it do to pray for things* but I am a very good guy. I dont drink or smoke, I donate blood, I give money and food to homeless people, help out at soup kitchen type places, build houses with my church and help fix up others, and most of all, I don't lie, cheat or steal.  Now, I'm not trying to get praise for what I do, I do it because it needs to be done. I can't wait to have enough money to help get people off the streets for good.  I feel I'm here on Earth to do good and to help people.  I get deep pains seeing other people suffering from worldly things that can be solved. I don't want to be part of a religion that won't accept me as the way I am.  Being made in Gods likeness, he made us this way, and then he goes on to test us?

Some religions (not trying to be mean here) will have you praying five times a day to God.  That seems a bit egotistical of God to me.

Anyways, I was born a Christian, I want to believe in God, but if he also can not take this joke of Jesus Chris, then thats really sad.

And I don't remember reading about Dinosaurs in the Bible.  Could that be that the people who wrote it didn't know that they once existed?

No way. I plan on bringing a demo of a game to show off at the place. I'll bring my laptop, and we can start a sign up for people with suggested and definite ideas for spoken tutorials and if anyone wants to claim them and begin work on it now, in time for mittens.

Advanced Technical Forum / Re:Scrolling rooms

Sounds to me like you want, from the manual
------------------------------
SetViewport
SetViewport (int x, int y)

Locks the screen viewport to having the top-left hand corner at (X,Y) in a scrolling room. This allows you to manually pan across a scrolling room or to have the screen follow a non-player character.
The lock is released when you either call ReleaseViewport or the player changes rooms.

NOTE: The co-ordinates supplied are 320x200-scale co-ordinates, and will be automatically multiplied up by the engine.

NOTE: This function has no effect if the current room isn't a scrolling room.

Example:

SetViewport (character[MAN].x - 160, character[MAN].y - 110);

will scroll around and follow character MAN in a specific room, ( you must put this in the room's repeatedly execute event)
See Also: GetViewportX, GetViewportY, ReleaseViewport
-------------------------------

At first, I thought you were having trouble just making a scrolling room in AGS

Yes, we've found our 1337 member.... and it shows.

Please, calm down on the capital letters everywhere.

Enjoy AGS

There really aren't any templates that I can think of what you're looking for, mostly because almost everyone here is making adventures.  We'd love for you to stay and make that template for others to use, though.

As long as you're nice  ;)

dont make room1 your first room, have your first room be intro.crm and have character start in room 0. im away from my main comp, so if someone agrees with both room 0 matching to intro, please post so
