Haha, he's kidding, it doesn't actually work... its just a joke in the editor...  ;D

What is so complicated about it? Maybe we can help you.  We'd love to help you.  You just download the file, then unzip the file into a folder on your computer.  Then there are a bunch of pictures to use as backgrounds.  Then you import them into a new room in the ags editor.  You could use photos for backgrounds too... whatever you want.

private message "CJ" and tell him your problem, he will respond in a few days..

Again, I say, what kind do you want?  A LucasArts styled one?  If so, then go to this http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=2;action=display;threadid=6642;start=0

if you would like another one, then write back.

if you do use one of them, then unzip the packaged downloaded one, and then put it in your ags folder.  then when you open ags editor, make a new game and call it test, then use the template of the one you downloaded... and viola... look at the code and try and understand it.

youll need a conditional "if" statement, plus a global integer "global int" to store and check to see if the player has the inventory item.  youll probably also need a custom function to call to in order to check whether or not the person has the item.

Check this out in the manual:

GetGlobalInt
GetGlobalInt (int index)

Returns the value of global variable INDEX.
Example:

if (GetGlobalInt(20)==1);
  { code here }

will execute the code only if Global Integer 20 is 1.
See Also: SetGlobalInt, GetGlobalString

I completly agree, I'm looking into free lodging and such, or just seeing how much it would be for me to take care of the cost here in Maryland.

That's great, and where can we find this Marvel?   You don't have a website in your profile, nor did you give us a link...

Go to www.freewebs.com and set up an account... then try back.

To the Europeans and other countries not of USA, of course we would be glad for you all to come.  I just supposed that flying across the ocean would be too much, so I figured you shouldn't have to miss out, but by all means please come.  New York may be our best bet, especially if it helps out more Europeans to come.

Yeah, I live near Washington, like AGA said, or we do have several New Yorkers, or of those thereabouts.

That was a great pseudo-journal.  Good photos.  Seems like you guys had a great time... I'm jealous.
#2675
Yeah, I bet it was a program that made it.

Fellas, I can understand your new found hatred towards this odd guy, I even back you up on it,  but please don't use the word "gay" in reference to him as a derogatory statement.  That brings down the gays.  Gay people are no where near this way.  In fact, every gay person I know are not jerks.  Actually, I think if everyone was gay, then there would be no robberies too... thats not what gay people do...

anyways, back on track... Chis, you are a moron.
