Honestly, I was just looking at those links to ezboard threads in the other thread, and I saw your name, and was like "Hey, good guy, haven't heard much from him." and here you are.  Seriously, everyone will go through something like this, as if the whole world was coming down, but I PROMISE it will get better.
You sound like you'll have time on this vacation, so use it.  Do what you like.  Just put a pen to paper, and write. It doesn't matter what, just do it.  Let your stream of conciousness take over and soon you'll have a topic and can't find yourself able to stop writing.  write a script for a game, write how you feel, draw yourself as superman helping old ladies and knocking heads off bad guys.  do what you want, cause you are in control of your life, and no one can tell you otherwise, so dont let anyone get you down.

How about this:

We have the AGS Awards, we could use them to award people entrance to post in the Olbie thread.  If someone has showed enough spirit in the year or less they've been here, and deserve the jump, then yes, do it, by all means, if not, then they have the next year.

I lurked for 2 months trying to get a feel for the place, then posted minimally.

Then made my original 4-room Dark Hero demo, then Ultimerr, and posted a little more.

Then Stickmen, then started MAGS, then wrote articles, then AGS Academy, etc, etc, etc.

yeah, sorry, i didnt specify that.  i got rid of characters i knew i wasnt going to use and made them the ones i needed.

SCI Studio at www.bripro.com will lead you to a font creation program.  I did it, it took me a week on and off, but it was worth it.  If no one has one, and you do make one, please post it, or send it to someone like me to host and post it.
