I use Sculpey for all my figurine making days. I have/had plans to make a bunch of futurama figures, ones that weren't made into 3 inch tall metal figures. I have a couple semi-done. Some met their untimely death when I decided it was okay to walk around with several in my hands at once. I of course, use metal armatures, but its just random thick wire I got from my mother.

Although Scupley comes in many colors, I preferred to use white for Roberto and others, as pictured above. (Bender is an example of the metal figurine that I am trying to compliment my figurines with.)
As others may have seen in the Garfield thread earlier, I made the whole cast using colored Sculpey. They are all still in mint condition, and are in a 3d Box frame sitting in my room.

I have Hobbes, of Calvin and Hobbes about halfway done, but I've been waiting for a rainy day with my girlfriend to complete him.
