There are many ways to do this. An easy way would be to create a new room with just a blank background, and just DisplaySpeechAt or similar code, you can have text pop up where you'd like it on screen. You may also want to look at using 'wait' commands.

You could even create each credit as a different screen, and just go through each screen after a certain amoun of time.

Try to be more descriptive in your future questions so we can be more helpful.

That's weird... wow.

The only think I've had close to that is my StarWars fan friend who hangs around the fan film community of LucasForums. He's a director, cg artist and musician... where as I hang around the LucasArts games section. We've gotten to talk and it's cool that we already know about each other just by things the online community has discussed. And now we're collaborating on at least making a trailer for a film version of Fate of Atlantis.

Oh, and there was that time I was on some guy's lawn and then a whole bunch of nerds pointed their flashlights at me, demanding to know who I was, and the only way I could reference myself was by Scummbuddy. I felt stupid doing it, as it was possible the group in front of me wasn't a bunch of silly Mitteneers.

Grundy inviting all these foreign people over to his house has finally caused him problems. The last person to come over... never left. The real grundislav is tied up in the corner, as ILuvBJs released the game prematurely. As my way of supporting the real Fransisco, I will not download the game until I get confirmation that the real grundy is back in his computer seat and safely not at knifepoint to rush BJ6.

Don't download the game!

Release Grundislav!

Concentrate on getting the girl done in one complete pack. Meaning, do all of her walkcycles, talkcycles and normal movements, like pick up and such, and then, when thats done, you can do the alternate clothing by animating on top of the old ones, which would be saved as a copy.

a) there is a 'modify' button on the posts you create, so feel free to use it instead of double posting

b) i dont know why you only have 2 posts, perhaps you were inactive for several months and your account was deleted, but then you would have mentioned that too, so im not sure.

c) he hasnt signed in here in a year and a half. that does suck. he mentioned that he would be taking a break, but thats quite a break. I do hope that he comes back again and wows us with his work.

You all may make photoshoped editor images as well. It doesn't just have to be a splash screen.

And yes, purple tentacle certainly did take over this thread. He has me at diminuator(TM) gun point and is forcing me to do this.

As this photoshop hasn't really warranted any responses, no offense biothlebop, and the current news on AGS, I have decided to change the photoshop contest. New rules have been posted above.

Edmundo also has a specific time frame of when he could attend, and I believe Ginny expressed interest.

I, of course, have nothing to do but wait until we all meet. I'm extremely flexible.

a) a .cha file is a character file that someone has already made in ags and is exporting it for use in another ags game. no program makes .cha files, other than the ags editor.

b) when that person gave you a picture, such as

You can go into the sprite manager, and select each frame you want, such as select only each walk frame one by one, and then select them all in the sprite manager and crop them, so they are all the same size and it won't look funny when you try to use them as a walkcycle.

c) .cha files is mentioned quite a lot, with what it is and how they are made in many places around these forums, as well as the manual and the ags wiki.

Oh noes! if only our GenGen forum moderator wasn't last active one year and 5 days ago! Who will save us? Who? WHO?

Well, I personally have never played the games, so I don't know how the fight action is supposed to happen. You may find better help if you supply us with step by step instructions on how the fight sequences are supposed to happen.

And do you need to be using the latest version of AGS, or can you use the older version that the template was created for?

Yes, but you're like, what, 12? It just takes dedication and practice, and lots of it. Just try to use single lines for outlines of objects in your background.  Instead of posting many bg's in the critics lounge, post one, and we'll all work on it together, and hopefully give you a way to work on each subseqent background, but of course we can help you along when you need help.

I thought Paco Vink was the winner...  ;D

No, no. Edmundo was being funny with the way he wrote that. "Gone Gold" does mean that they have the final disc and final version of the game (they hope) on a single disc and it is off to the presses, like he said. It doesn't mean like in music when a record goes gold or platinum, which refers to the amount sold.

The purple gorilla scares me. Seriously. I was excited, but when I started reading some reviews, it kinda put me off. I'm open to reading more about the game, but as of now, no.

For whatever graphics program you are using, I'm sure there is a circle tool to draw circles as you hold down the mouse button to your desired size. This could be used when redoing the moon, or any of the Bone boys. Such as their head, torso or nose. I believe this would be a good help.

Another thing that bothers me, is that one of the boys has an arm that is not curved, like a muscle, but is a jagged line, which I just can't understand. Please try to take your time when making your art. It's okay for it not to come out the way you want it the first time. We all hit the undo button. And no one here would be upset if you were to half-trace Smith's work, at least for the Bone brothers, since we'll be seeing them the whole game.

What exactly are you asking?

how do you create animated gifs from several static images, or just how to import gifs into ags?
--------------------
Edit* I agree with Gilbot below, and you will need to go to google and input "gif creator" or "gif maker" and you'll get one. Try to get one that doesn't put watermarks, or images all over the final .gif

If only you were born 15 years earlier, you'd be a very rich man. That is, if you wanted to be in 'the biz' as they say.

c.leksutin once posted about his horrible on-the-job accidents with of course, a cover-up story to tell us. Such as the time he severely burned himself, or was it a knife accident? I don't recall.

I also remember someone posting here about a brown-spider bite, which toxins caused his skin to erode away, much like a zombie, only real. The pictures provided scarred me for life and I know see 1 inch brown spiders a completly different way.
