Wow! Did you get permission from LucasArts to give away their games? That's crazy. Everyone else that does so gets shut down, but I'm sure you went the legit way and asked them for persmission first. That would be the smart and thoughtful way to have a website.

I hope that you got Sierra's permission as well. Wouldn't want such a good thing to be deleted and even have legal issues brought up on sites that give away games that aren't released as freeware by their legal owners.

The Rumpus Room / Re: Happy Birthday Thread!

Fluke hid his birthday.... and I was going to wish him a happy birthday, which was originally on the calendar on Dec 25, which would have made him the first AGS'er to have a Christmas Day, but I don't know if it was just a joke now. Well, happy birthday to our other member... Jesus.  Wow, ressurecting oneself just to ressurect adventure games.

So you have two characters using the same view for walkframes?

You need to set up another view using the same sprites, and then change the second characters walk view to the newly created one.

Then you can export the sprites for one of the characters and edit them, or you can just make new sprites and import those new sprites into the sprite manager and change one of those views to have the new sprites.

I would have the missing second-to-last movie in CMI, which answered why the Roller Coaster of Death kept circling, instead of going straight into lava.

And while I'm at it, I would, you know, actually have continuity in the Monkey Island games.

well, happy birthday to Fizz! (figured might as well, now that his thread is ressurected.)

I cant believe that this thread really is over a year old. I would have guessed that it was maybe from spring 2005, not august 2004. Crazy how time flies on the net.

You misunderstood. we really dont care.  ;)

And actually, I was worried that people wondered who the random people in my games thread page are. I didn't want anyone thinking I made them up in some attempt to stay on the first page.

Next time use the thread, (three up from this one) called Game Seek (find adventures) http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=16926.0

But, I'm sure someone will be able to hook you up with a download soon.

I've seen the LucasArts fan-wallpaper before, but I never noticed that there is a shadowy-figure in the bottom right that I just can't place.  Could it be Bobbin?!?  No... he's wearing like a fedora, but I dont think it's Indy either. It could just be a ''rip" in the picture, but that would be kinda random.

this may be of use to the Christmas MAGS.

nice work.

a) you've been around long enough to know that this forum is for new threads about new games.

b) use the original thread. i dont understand your logic. even if you write this post in that thread,( which is like, only 10 down below this) it would be bumped to the top, and we would see that it needs attention.

c) if you read through that thread, there would be this link.
http://schwammhirn.de/bilder/noisymountaine.rar

youll see that the "e" on the end is what entitles it the engilsh version.

and once you do find reliable bandwidth, private message AGA and ask for your password to be reset, unless the problem lies more within leaving this page (once signed in) and going to the games page to remain logged in.

is this using the 3d module and/or plugin? If so, then your question is better suited for the original 3d module thread, as the original authors may see it better.

i believe he emphasized the wrong word.

by saying he wants the queen to appear just, that means for her to appear correct and that shes not cheating the 'system', even though she is.

Geoffkhan: We tell the jury that to even think of the death penalty, they have to have been convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that they are guilty. Plus its up to the judge to decide.

Yes, I'm sure there are innocent people in just plain jail. But hopefully, as technology improves, we will have at least a 99.9% accuracy when it comes to the death penalty. Of course 100% is wanted, but unlikely. And with the technology improvements, hopefully the innocent will be freed.

-------------
And I'm pretty sure that it costs the state the same amount of money to just put someone to death, as it does to keep them in a cell, and feed them for the rest of their life. I know, to me, it doesn't add up well, but that's what I've read. If anyone feels like correcting me, or backing me, thats cool. Whatever.

King, you dont seriously have a book like that for your children, do you?
{edit from post below} ahh, ok, for some reason, I was thinking of Nikolas.Ã,  nevermind.
