Iqu, I believe they are called "twelve interviews" as Vince Twelve has started these, not that there will only be 12 interviews, but its completely understandable how you arrived at that.

I enjoyed this interview a lot, but why don't you just become an interviewer for Vel in his AGSzine? I would really like to see that AGSzine a lot more.

instead of starting a new thread to say thank you, please continue it in the thread, as i had to merge both threads together.

please use the forum search on free paint programs, as with our beginners Frequently asked questions, plus forum rules exclusively states not to ask for paint programs in this forum, and doing so will get your thread a lock.

we're glad you were able have your problem solved, but please use the manual/help file's tutorial and follow it through at least once.

enjoy the program!

When wearing the mask, he reminded me completly of Billy Baldwin, that blonde-haired Baldwin. And I will say there were times when Batman was bitching a guys head off high above the streets and I was like "Damn, I'm glad I'm not that crook..." The comedy was minor and funny, and was placed great, as it is not to be a comedy movie. It completely put back faith in the batman movie franchise. I don't know if I can say its better than the spiderman or xmen movies, but it was definitly worth me going. After the movie, I was still very happy I went.

I keep hating to rain on everyones parades, especially all these really nice sprites, but in a sprite jam, you are to have no background.

1) that was a sad, sad commercial. I like how it appeals to Generation X'ers... It'll be a hit.
2) That cereal did rock. There were games on the back of the box... there were two cereals in one box. We're talking ground breaking stuff here.
3) Is that older kid "Ralphie" of "A Christmas Story"?  I think it was... imdb this one.
4) He totally looks like he's beating off behind that table top version. I know where to get the Ms. Pacman version of that table top type. Maybe I can look as cool as he does when playing.
5) You didnt even mention that they did not show any gameplay at all. Go play "Space Duel"... because we said so.  i mean, look at the graphics of the arcade machine... it must be good!
6) They just made the foriegn language computer as an excuse for moms and dads to say, oh, i can see why we need one of these... and then you'll just be playing missle command, while "Bon Jour!" sits in dust.
7)I think this one deserve the OMG description. "Hey nameless thug, come over here and beat a level and laugh. Ahuh, huh, grunt, huh.
I'm going to show them the mountain zone.... woa! almost hit one. <phew> Oh, no the stripe zone. I can't handle going vertical, while still shooting in FOUR directions!1!  Did he just say four directions?!?! Indeed.
8)Nothing so bad about this one... except maybe for that beanie.
9)Oooo vector graphics! The future is here.
13) "Ok, kids. I see it! Now shut up! And stop putting your hands in front of the screen! I can't see all the little pixels to blow up.

I miss the Saturn and all, but not this commercial. http://gameads.gamepressure.com/tv_game_commercial.asp?ID=2485

and what, no virtual boy commercials... pfft.

I found it hard to read "Fireview Gentlemens Club". It's like the F of fire and the G of gentle, are on top of another.

try Douchebag

open up the ags manual/help file and go to "Distributing your game".
#792
I am heartily anticipating the next steps.
#793
First of all, why would you lose the game you are currently working on? Just save the whole game file folder, and copy it into a new place; download ags again, and then put the game file folder back inside the unzipped folder.

I would suggest re-downloading the program.
#794
first, have you tried loading it from your ags folder?

Welcome to our boards.

First, since you suggest that you are a musician, which are very welcome here, I suggest you go over to the "Offer your Services" thread, where you can post about yourself, and how you can help others with music. Also, if you haven't already, ticked the little box in your user options that state that you help with music, plus put a little blurb about what you do there.

The "Offer your services" thread can be found here: http://www.adventuregamestudio.co.uk/yabb/index.php?topic=13335.0

1) yes, that does refer to the pixels tall and wide.
2) you do want to take into consideration the size of your characters as they relate to your backgrounds, but you can either just study a couple tutorials and judge about how big they make them, or you can make your character, roughly 50 pixels tall, and create your bg's from there.
3)you could either, actually create the black bars by incorporating them into your bg, or you can test the check box "use letterbox (320*240)/ (640*480)resolution" in the misc. section of the game options.

General Discussion / Re: NES or SNES?

everytime im at a store and getting so close at to buy an old system i always wanted when growing up, i just realize that there is an emulator for that. I know its not the same, but it sure saves a lot of money.

oh and my sega genesis rocks the house. you all remember this fun pic of me...

and my friend can't be wrong...

Saying no to a sega is like saying no to her. But Dart and Kinoko are okay to say no.

I think by adding about 4 pixels along the outside of the arm, around where the elbow would be would thicken up her arm quite well, in the front and rear views.
It seems her chest is higher on the first side, then the third, but they're both side views. (I could be wrong, I didn't get a ruler out.)
I would have her eyes pointing down in the side views, not up.
The front view, I would rather her look crosseyed, then looking off to one side. Keeping it that way, could make it weird if you had her "look at"something across the room to the right, and shes still looking to the left when describing.

Very, very nice character.

I would love to be a part of this, you know that Jannar, but as of now, I have too much on my desk with projects to join at this moment.

yeah, it would just be transitions between scenes. but for some reason, the play would have music that didnt relate at all to the play, like alternative/pop music, which I didn't want included. Later, he used the "monkey island rocks 2 music" which I left in, so you can see the transition, that is, if it wasn't already in the most recent release.
