Have you read both 'status line" posts in the technical archive. I would suggest reading those over, and write back here if you have any more problems.

raider, he's working on that. its not done yet. heh.

and just as long as I dont notice that green vine/line repeating on the pathway, then it will be fine. Having it show once would be fine.

Fluke, what is so hard about reading and following the text near where you link your signature that states the height and width requirements?

you'll notice that when you rotate the sub, it either goes further back into the water, or closer to the viewer.

such as, if you keep turning it in a clockwise direction, it may go further back into the water, and the opposite the other way.Ã,  Ã, I cant remember which way goes which, but i will say it took me awhile too. My girlfriend, on the other hand, got it immediatly...Ã,  ::)

Oh, and there are over 7 indiana jones games, so PLEASE use a descriptive topic, and describe what game you are playing. You're just lucky we understood it.

Yes, there is already one.

And this has been now moved from beginners tech to adventure releated talk. The beginners forum is scrictly for AGS editor related questions only.

if you've messed up your entry on the ags games database, private message "AGA" for him to reset it for you. You can private message him by clicking the bottom link.

Are you sure its supposed to work with an AGS version thats before 2.62? I seem to remember some plugins dont work with versions before a certain release number. It very well could include yours, I'm just checking. Did you read any accompanying Read Me/Help file with it?

Did you put the downloaded pieces in their correct location in the games folder, where ever it may be?

generally, if you need to post again within 5 minutes of your last one, you should modify your last post.

I do believe that if you edit a post, if will show up again as new, even to the person who has already just seen the thread. I believe that works in this forum; I know it works in others.

for music, I have no idea what format that is. I suggest googling the extension, and seeing what player comes up.
If it were my problem, I would just play the music on my computer, with whatever plays the song, and use my wav  recorder recording on my computer, so that I may later convert that saved file into something AGS recognizes.

repeat after me: "I will not double post. I will use the modify button."

MSPaint can't show animations. just the first frame of the animation.

I do believe you can import a gif animation into ags, now. if you want to save time, you could do that.

remember, the first frame of a view is the standing still frame, and the others to the right of it, are the walking/moving frames. when the char stops, it will revert to the first one.

search the forums for "No Action Jackson" then click on that thread in the completed games section. There are screen shots there, and thats why we make people post screenshots in their thread.   ::)

Seriously, shouldn't you know to search google before asking questions.
#831
check the ags manual/help file. it was put in there for a purpose.
#832
this could be a great resource. it should be added to some sticky threads.

and LGM just wanted to pimp himself. He knew allll along of the voice acting site.  ;)
#834
well, i was going to show you up saying: "you cant create art in MSPaint" by showing you some work of Pessi, but it seems he hasn't put up any mspaint work recently, so, just believe me.
#835
a) yes, you either need to make the graphics yourself, or you can put up a post in the sticky thread in the "adventure talk and chit chat" forum, "ACR - Need Help with your game" thread.

b) you must use descriptive thread titles, please. it helps with others who are doing forum searches, with people who may have similar questions.... which brings me to...

c) use the forum seach function. you could search for "import characters" and probably get a thousand hits... from other new people who have asked this question and we've answered, most of the time, to tell people to

1) read the manual, just skim it, get to know the terms and keywords
2) read the beginnners FAQ, it is linked to in the sticky threads in this beginners forum
3) follow the tutorial in the manual, which takes you through the basics, and is great.

welcome to the community, enjoy your stay

Yes, I think you are well on your way to making a very nice FOA styled background.

Taffy, did you ever get that private message with all the links, that I sent you?
#837
what version of ags were you using?
#838
the only one with a well rounded working template would be monkey_05_06, and if I remember right, he won't be releasing it until after his game is released.

Perhaps just a simple room with the GUI would be nice, a way to get people into thinking in that GUI way, but perhaps just leave the real GUI to a template, either one that I, Proskrito, or monkey0506 creates in the future. Or LucasFan may have one that we could use.

First, I now it has nothing to do with our AGS, I was trying to make a joke.

To answer your question, I check on ebay for people selling our games and trying to make a profit off our free games. Then I just got curious as to what AGS clothing they had.
#840
It turns out that Chris Jones has been working on AGS since the 1980's, and AC was just a fad. And, for all of you who weren't with us back in the 80's, you can pretend you were by buying this rare and exclusive AGS t-shirt.

Seriously, what is vintagepimps, and what does it have to do with AGS (meaning, not our own, but what other AGS, a band?). What did it stand for? And everyone knows that Chris Jones and I are the only ones who own AGS brand sweatshirts, with authentic AGS member signatures. Everyone else is just a hater.
