youll have to remember that if you are either asking an artist to do these for free, they may not want to do so many, as it will eat up their time. Maybe they will want to do it, since it will give them more practice, or they may like the scene idea that you have.

if you are paying a person to do it, you  will have to ask yourself if it is worth the money to make the scenes.

now, in my opinion, if you make a scene, such as a long path to get to a mansion, i would think it to be odd to have you walk the whole thing, since you know the person is just going to either go to it, or away, so if you made me walk it, i would try everything i could in that area, just to see why i was put there, or allowed to be there.

now you guys get a whole other year to plan for aussie mittens. and if i get a whole year to save for an australian mittens, then that may be possible. definitly have your downunderpants, but next year, we'll see if we can get some of the upper hemisphere to come over.

yeah, there needs to be a specification as to if we're talking about cutscenes which are almost always a good idea, and action sequences, like ben on his bike through the old mine road, or sam and max using the whack-a-rat....

I make cartoons in flash in my spare time, but for what i have planned now, ags is what I want to use, as it would be simpler in this case. youll see why when i have the free time to finish it up.

I love your rendition of Toe Jam!

Now, your second char, within the first second of seeing it hurts my eyes. Not that its a bad character at all, but I think I tacked that down to the use of black outlines. I think if you replace them with a darker color of the clothing/weapon of it, then the character could be finished!

Great job!

what a brilliant point and marketing idea. they know they are going to see the movie... so yeah.

If they made it World of Warcraft, with puzzles, it might work very well.

oooo "Spheres of Starcraft" ~~Raynor uses zerglings gaping jaws to make hole in door to walk through.~~

try downloading it from a different mirror. just because it says UK, or SWE, doesnt mean its a different language. What does it say in wordpad, though?

There are 2 USA mirrors, so try the other one, if you want.

I'm glad I can help. I have updated versions of about all of them, but I just need to upload them, plus move their addresses over to my real webspace.

Yeah, I try not to let art tutorials dissapear forever, as best I can. I know that there are ones out there now I am missing.

Regaurding the Sky tutorial, I believe you may be referring to Mage and the others as they collaborated on his art to attain a great style. He did some fantastic Monkey Island styled-bgs, and I have added his images to a collection, which you can view by going here:

also, I have other themed collections, such as Day of the Tentacle, Fate of Atlantis, and a misc-style, which you can view by going here:

and scrolling to the bottom.

I'm confused now. I didn't set up a new one, even though I saw this post was locked and possibly done with. I don't mind who wins, as they all were great in their own way. Is it up to Loom if this is over, then? Fine by me.
