MI1? Is that Monkey Island 1? I never played it. Is the player of this game assumed to have played it and to remember details from puzzles or is this game playable on its own? The original Monkey Island came out in 1990 and I would presume that even people who have played it may have forgotten certain details after 25 years.

Edited: ok I solved this puzzle. But I would like to know if the game is playable for people who have not played the Monkey Island series before I continue.
