I played and completed this game.

My comments:

First and foremost, this game is FUN. I recommend that you play it. I agree with MyEakinBack: the game has a good combination of tense moments and a bit of everything. The story is simple and unfolds at a pace that happens to match the pace of the game very well. The puzzles are on the easier side and I don't have a problem with that. Easier puzzles open the game to less experienced players.

My only criticisms: the graphics/sprites/characters look like they've been taken from different sources and SEEM to me to be inconsistent with each other. This does not affect the playability of the game but I thought I would mention it. As well, when you look at things, the scrolling text animation is a nice touch but I personally found myself getting impatient at times because of it and sometimes I didn't bother to look at items because of it. If there would be a way to skip the effect that might be a plus.

Either way, good job! I'm looking forward to the next Slasher game...

I'm trying to access the computer but I have no idea what the user name is. I've tried Snuffledrop and many other possibilities but so far nothing works.

Edit: never mind...figured it out. I thought I tried that 20 times...

Spoiler
The fat man mentions that he found some of the previous civilisation's technology while excavating his bunker. He won't let you look at it but he will trade it if you offer him the right thing.

Thank you. I finished the game.

Spoiler
I assumed that north was where the trees are (the hint when you click the field is "exits are to the NORTH" and it's north on the screen). I had thought that the room with the combo lock puzzle where you get the ice was where the key would be but I was wrong. I have no idea where the key might be and I've wandered in circles clicking around hoping to find something.

Spoiler
Well, the hologram mentions that the key must be buried somewhere near the bunker, and the fat man in the bunker had to dig it when he crashed there, so I would discuss that with him.

I just got the bucket and turned it to ice. I can't seem to do anything at this point.

Do you have the key? The hologram offers a general description of where it might be. If you look at the clearing/field it gives additional details as to what is north.

Thanks for playing :)

I just completed the game with the "real" ending.

Only bug I detected is that you can do the same tasks (such as taking items you have) repeatedly.

I enjoyed it as well. Delightful, retro graphics and animations. Puzzles on the easier side but still fun. Overall very charming.

Cheers

On the full-screen thing, you could try to change the graphic filter in the setup. I think that will fix it.

There are 15 of them. Which one is the intended one? Did you design and test the game in full screen? If so, which one did you use?

I did play around a bit and it makes the corner squares smaller and the play area larger but most games just work correctly in fullscreen mode.

Same here. I tried using plain English which didn't really work (you should have heard the "plain English" that came out of my mouth after the first few tries) then I tried doing it in the order given.

Hi! I managed to get stuck in this game, I have no idea what to do:

Spoiler

I have the flute, have played it on the pier, need the musick magick book.
What now? I can't find this book. It seems the monkey might have it? Or is that his leg? I don't know.

go back to the hut and browse the locked cabinet. If you don't know how to get in, then feel free to ask again!

Wow...it's Jimi! I gotta play this one!

Edited: That was fun! I completed it with little difficulty. Lovely graphics and cute puzzles. I couldn't figure out how to play it in fullscreen mode. Fullscreen gave me these weird squares in the corners. What did I do wrong?

- The intro video did not play for me. I was only able to play it by launching it from the game folder.
It's strange ... I have not had this problem before.

I played it in fullscreen mode. When played in a window, the video did play.

- Most important: if you are going to make more games, please have the English translation reviewed by a native English speaker. It's not just important to have proper spelling, grammar and punctuation, but I was unable to understand much of what was being said because of the poor English.

Yes, it is difficult for me. I translated the first tier of the game. Then a member of the French forum translated the following. I finished the last part of the game. It's complicated to find someone to translate a game... :~(

Maybe now that it's released on the English forum you can get help from English speakers for the next games?

I downloaded and played the game.

Overall it's a pretty good game. There's a good mix of puzzles using inventory items and dialogue and possibly some humour in there as well.

A few comments:
- The intro video did not play for me. I was only able to play it by launching it from the game folder.
- For the next game, I recommend reducing the number of icons down to the commonly used left click to use, right click to look. Gameplay was a bit awkward having to click the icons especially with a separate icon for take/open and use/open.
- Most important: if you are going to make more games, please have the English translation reviewed by a native English speaker. It's not just important to have proper spelling, grammar and punctuation, but I was unable to understand much of what was being said because of the poor English.

Looking forward to the next game

That solves it. Thank you

I completed the game and I think that it's really a great first game. The design of the layout and puzzles are well-thought out. The story was pretty weird and abstract but it comes together well. I hope you continue to produce more games!

Looks like a great game. I downloaded it and started playing, but I see that on my computer the game area is a small square in middle of my screen. I've adjusted my screen resolution up and down to no avail. Is there any way to adjust this?

Canada Day is a lot like Independence Day here in the States, but with beavers instead of fireworks. Also, moose rides are free and all crimes no matter how heinous are reduced to misdemeanors in honor of Canada's otherwise year-round politeness. It's a wonderful, dangerous holiday that we're all grateful only comes once a year.

Hey, if your US compatriots found out that you know so much about Canada they would ostracize you or kick you out of the States.

QuoteWait, wait, wait, wait.  Dummied it down?  I think if Canadians could figure out that May Two-Four is a celebration of beer box size, and Civic holiday is about exalting the celebrated Honda model, then surely they could figure out what Domino Day was for, eh?

LOL I'm glad you made it through school with the ability to glean so much knowledge. :)

What happens on Canada day ?
Do u get a day off work or something ?

Yes, Canada Day is a day off work. It's usually celebrated by BBQs, fireworks, completing yardwork that you didn't get done yet and getting bitten by mosquitoes.

As a historical note, Canada Day used to be called Dominion Day until 1982. The name was changed to Canada Day partly because of the patriation of the Constitution that year and partly because at this point, most Canadians haven't lived here long enough to know enough history to know what the Dominion of Canada refers to so they dummied the name down to accommodate and make sure that people don't feel left out.

But the left-over "for"(4) did bother me so I eventually went back and tried 1+5/4 (64) which led me to the graves. At this point I thought the carving had a double-code until I did the grave math and got the result 28. Then I realised that I(9)+S(19)=28 was just a HUGE coincidence and that I was supposed to visit the graves before I visited the weeping-woman. And then I could finish the game.

Aha...that helped where I was stuck.
Spoiler
I ended up on 28 from the I + S; I didn't get the 64 even after playing around with the numbers a bit (I think I tried using 1 and 5 because of their similarity to 1 and 5 but no luck.)

I finished the game with that hint.

Really cool and different game.
