Wrong, bitch; those who fawn over the man are the delusional ones. Ã, As you said yourself, people wouldn't be so enamoured with him if they knew he wasn't the first to play the role; this is why I made the 'original and best' crack about Nelson, to prevent people making the same boring statement about boring old Con... oh, let's just stop arguing about this and have some nice makeup sex - I bagsy top!

Roger Moore did the most (he did, right?) but Sean Connery was teh best.. Even though he was Scottish, and all the others are straight up British.

Or maybe Sean Connery IS British... And I'm just an asshole.

Sean Connery was British. They all were.

I think what you MEAN is that Connery was Scottish, whereas the rest were English.
This issue has already been addressed by someone smarter and more attractive and more charismatic and considerably more correct then yourself.

TO REITERATE, FOR FOOLS:

Even if we ignore both versions of Casino Royale and James Bond Jr, not all the bonds were British: Lazenby is Australian and Brosnan is Irish. Ã, Moore was the only Englishman.

The Casino Royale movie was a spoof, the episode of Climax! was not.

SO THERE.

Scotland is in Britain, darling.

If we briefly ignore the Casino Royale bunch, Moore was the only English Bond (which I'm guesing is what you meant); George Lazenby is Australian, Timothy Dalton is Welsh and Pierce Brosnan is Irish.

Anyway, I don't know why everyone wanks on about how non-wanky Sean Connery was, as he was utter wank; not a patch on Barry Nelson - the original, and the best.

Not that I've ever seen the one with Barry Nelson, but that's still my opinion.

The remake has the same director, and even some of the same actors; I hear it is pretty much shot-for-shot the original film.

I saw the original (I keep calling it 'the original', but actually I believe that it's the third or fourth in a series; the previous chapters being made-for-video movies which I don't think have been officially translated) in the cinema a few weeks ago, and frankly was underwhelmed.Ã,  I'd heard that the film was utterly terrifying, and while there were some rather creepy moments, they were more than balanced out by the very nearly hilarious ones (such as the first time the ghost shows up on screen above the old woman).

'Dark Water' was another japanese horror film which had some silly moments (the water seeping out of the girl's shoes for a ridiculous amount of time, for example) but that was negated by the way the film as a whole slowly built up the atmosphere until it reached a magnificent climax; the episodic structure of Ju-On meant that such a build-up wasn't particularly workable.

That said, David Lynch films usually maintain a pretty constant pace, and have plenty of funny moments (though I suspect more intentionally funny than those in Ju-On), but still remain very unsettling overall; perhaps, then, I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about.Ã,  Still, I felt Ju-On: The Grudge was not all it was marked up to be.

I'm sick of hearing "Tattoos are Art"

Whatever.

If you want art, paint a fucking picture.

Otherwise, it's just some picture...
After reading this, I laughed for seventeen years before deciding not to bother trudging through the rest of your post.

Thanks for that.

While we are on the subject of slang, I still have difficultly understanding the Bob's your uncle thing. I mean, where do these weird things come from?Ã,  ???
No-one anywhere knows.

See, to me this elusive thing called a chav is what I call a gangbanger wannabe suburban white-kid type guy here in america

Aww, so its an english wigger?
No.Ã,  Although it would be perhaps fair to say that chavs are predominantly white, they don't have to be; it's nothing to do with race, it's all to do with being a twat.

I didn't know off the top of my head, but I googled around a bit and apparently it appears in Robots and Empire.

But you miss a little point LGM.

It's not that it's not exactly asimovian, is the exact opposite of everything that underlies the basis of Asimov's robot stories.

He often complained about the "Frankenstein" complex, that extended from the Golem to the present, that human's shouldn't create something because it would turn on them.

Since he considered this to be absolutely absurd, since human's would create safe guards, he wrote all his stories on the basis of those safe guards apparently failing and not.
I assume that you're talking about the three laws of robotics.  I'm not familiar with Asimov's work (though I plan to give either I, Robot or The Complete Robot a whirl at some point in the near future), and I've yet to see the film, but from what I understand the revolts/apparent malfunctioning et cetera you see in the trailer is not down to ignorance of the three laws (which actually feature in one of the trailers, and I believe the films opening), but due to the inclusion of a zeroth law -  'No robot may harm humanity or, through inaction, allow humanity to come to harm' - which I hear did actually show up in Asimov's stories (although admittedly not in any of those contained within I, Robot).

I'm not defending the film as a whole - I've yet to see it, after all - but if I understand correctly what you are saying and if what I have read about the film is true, that particular criticism would seem to be an unfair one.

And using a spelling that was invented by Aleister Crowley is only done by pretentious wankers who've read too much Sandman. It's the exactly the preciousness of the spelling that annoys me.
I'll have you know that I on occassion use Crowley's spelling and am in fact a pretentious wanker who's read too much Invisibles!

Maybe, in future, you'll think for while before you make such sweeping generalisations!

Synonyms for 'chav' include 'scally', 'pikey', 'townie', 'cunt' and some others that I can't be bothered typing.

Just so that the (I'm sure) entirely well-meaning Remco doesn't get confused, Captain Mostly has produced several games in the past, including the already-mentioned cult classic Richard Longhurst and the Box that Ate Time, a couple of RON games, and Vegetable Patch Extreem Turbo numbers one and two.

As mentioned by Gilbert, the Captain is really, really beloved in the community.

So now you know.

There are only a few of the pretending to be a man ones.. the others have varying themes. Did you read them?
No, I brashly jumped to the wrong conclusion, having seen stuff like this before.

Curse me.

Curse me all to HELL.

I've read a few of these before; they tend to be pretty funny at first, but they get old fast - they all seem to follow the same pattern, like so:

Pervert24:  Hey SmallChild11!
SmallChild11:  Hi Pervert24!
Pervert24:  Wanna cyber?
SmallChild11:  Okey-dokey.

...

SmallChild11:  And then I PULL my COCK out!!!  Because I have a cock!!!  Because I'm really a man!!!
Pervert24:  WTF FOAD BITCH WHORE CUNT BASTARD TWAT!!!

There seem to be very few deviations from this theme.

I actually considered pretending to be a paedophile online, and messaging the most obvious baiter I could find; I would go through the normal 'Ooh, I'm a paedophile who's rubbish at cybering' shtick, only when they PULLED their COCK out, I'd be all 'Oh yeah baby, let me suck it; shove it up my arse!', and they'd be all 'Hoisted by my own petard!', or something equally Shakespearian.

The only reason I didn't do this is that I realised that I couldn't honestly be bothered to.

That's actually an officially commisioned game, ya know (hence the constant DVD adverts).

It's even linked on the front page of his website.  So yay.

Anyway, I normally find his programmes most entertaining; regardless of how he actually does it (you can sense on occassion that when he's trying to make you think he's using ultra-clever psychological illusiony stuff, and he's really just performing a standard magic trick), it's always fun to watch.  The séance was rather dissapointing, though, however much fun it was to see that one bloke making crosses and actually PRAYING because he was so freaked out; aparrently the version he does on his stage show is much better.

But anyway, any person who can make Stephen Fry yell 'FUCK OFF!' is a god in my book.

Pretty much figured it out on my first roll; I did a few more rolls to be sure, and got the fourth or fifth of them wrong as I was unsure as to what counted - beyond that, though, 'twas piss easy.

Migs' hint probably provided a lot of help, though (although I can't really be positive as to how long it would have taken me to get into that frame of mind otherwise).
