Design a human, animal or alien party goer and animate it if you can.

Rules.

• no colour restrictions
• sprite size must not exceed 400 x 400 pixels
• the reveller in question cannot be an inanimate object
• bonus points issued for animations by me

So I've been messing about with the buildings on this picture for a few hours and I cant seem to make my mind up on which is better or indeed correct.
The lighter or the darker buildings in the distance. 
what do you think folks?
Should I go in between the two colours maybe?

Although currently I've not smoked for 4 days. This thread is making me want one now though.

Ha ha as if.. in the space of time it's took for me to do my usual drop in, say hi and leave. Mouth has left and come back lol.. Mouth honestly I've done next to nothing with this engine but I'm still around. I think I signed up around the same time as you and since then I have procrastinated and procrastinated. I still call thus place home though. Don't feel pressured to complete anything man just create and be creative and mist importantly share your work man.

On and off for 18 years now. I quit for three years at one point but then I got drunk and started again. It's strange for me as sometimes I can't stand the smell while others I'm just absolutely hell bent for a ciggy..

What has been said here already is spot on.
My advice is practice,practice, practice.
It's hard to emulate the styles of those fantastic artists believe me I have been trying for years on and off now.
Find an art package that suits you and more importantly stick with it do not change! . I got Aesprite as it's great for pixel art and animation.

Here's an example of my style (After using Kyrandia as a point of resource)

That's no dragon, that's just poor pixeling.
As for the bush, its now not as lonely. I've also added more rocks and roots and given the sand more texture.


I've not got any other project links atm. I am working on something but I'm going to keep it on the down low until I have a substantial amount done.

Any more suggestions
