I dont see too much into this whole France giving a big NON (mon-dieux!) to the EU Constitution, as many of you have said before, its just to piss-off the government. I mean many french people are pissed at Jack Chirac (or however you spell it).. because they believe that France is going towards a more english-oriented future, meaning that they opose English leadership.. if Tony Blair had kept his mouth shout and stopped saying that The EU Constitution was a big succes for England, then the French would have said Oui, to the damn thing.. (maybe im being a little simplistic..). But the point is that this isnt really a about The Constitution not being good for Europeans, no!!... its about European Politics and the fact that people dont know squat about what is going on, because simply put no-one really asked if they where ready to take the next step.

One day out-of-nowhere (for most Europeans who dont follow politics).. you have this proposal.. you dont know squat.. and all those who opose the government, get up and start screaming bloody-murder!!.. Who are you going to believe?.. The Ones who are making all the noise?.. or the ones who dont ask your permission to do something to your country?.. naturally you wont go and look up books and read the constitution, you'll just listen to the one whose making all the noise... why?

cause.. i truly belive this, individuals are smart.. they can understand and be reasoned with, but the masses are quite stupid.

i would vote NO, one the Constitution, why?... cause i want a joint effort, not just the top countries (England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy...) pushing something out so it can be passed. Im pro-constitution, but i want a resposible constitution that reponds to the needs of all europeans, not a constitution that holds me to a social-economic model being pushed by richer countries... that they themselves have huge differences.

Stay calm, ok true maybe his announcement is out place... (no its not out of place maybe just a little out of time).. i get the point though, your remaking SQ3 to point and click. For that thank you. And good luck.

Second, when remaking a game, or even touching a little-bit of it, when its a classic, everyone will jump up and try to poke out your eyes!!!.. but remember its your project, you can do with it whatever you want.. (hey you can even make roger wilco bald :P!!!).. some wont like it, others will. Keep that in mind.

Very... nice..... (ahem!!!!).. i mean VERY NICE!

i like the music a lot, perfect atmosphere. It all seems very detailed reminds my of that movie... whats it called...?? (Haunted House??... Hill House??.. oh who remembers!)..

Anyway if your looking for Beta-Testers... count me in.

Recently i havent been very active, but i have now started working on the game again. If things are cool, i'll probably finish it by late December...

I leave the room for one minute and all hell breaks loose!!! Who and what are you talking about.. (penis enlargement??... bottles??.. naked boobies... someone having sex in the back seat of his tiny car making things very cramped for his girlfriend!!!..(wait no-one was talking about that).. :P)

Back on the subject... I like the new one, old one was cool (i mean first) but i like the new one better.

As for the subtitle... well thats all you man!.. your the one who makes the game you pick the subtitle.. i just judge the looks, and i dare say IT LOOKS GOOD!!

Yeah i know... :P.. thats because thats what happens when you write a game quickly and sometimes one becomes even blind to some pretty big mistakes, such as.. i wrote on a previous version.... "Interumpted".. and you become blind to it all because, your checking out other stuff. Most of the editing for final details like that will be done, on the final stages, (when i will release a beta version of the game).. and i'll probably need some help, with double checking stuff like that, so if your interested stay in touch.

Thanks, for downloading a demo.. im glad you liked the game.

Thank you. Yes I took some good time on making the intro, that runs about 15 minutes long, you can acomplish sometyhing in the demo, but it could be very difficult without proper "universal messages" that i have not included in the demo, because it will be part of the final stages of the game's release.

But indeed you can finish the first sequence of the game, if you hunt down every possible room, and places to hide. I would recommend that you run the game full-screen, since some gamemakers.. are fans of the one pixel clue... :-X

I hope you continue to try and break the mini quest.

Yeah, id have to agree. I like the first screen better... Darth is right, but both are great... its just that maybe the first reminds me of something.. or maybe.. why dont you try adding to the new a black filling for the letters and add the subtext... (my opinion a least)

for some strange reason i forgot to include the agscreditz.dll, in the zip. Anyhow i've uploaded it to the site, and you can download it here:

(remember you may have to copy the link and paste it on the nav bar)

include this file in the same folder as the game exe. everything will run fine.

Well after pushing some advanced debugging sessions, and preparing the game. I am glad to say that Lord of Kings Demo is now available.

Many, Many.. MANY features have not been yet incorporated to thsi demo, so it might be a bit difficult, but it does have a mini-quest, the first part of the story.

remember this is a first release, i would like comments on the game feel and look, but most importantly have fun.

Also, this is my first public release ever, so i want honesty, be it bad or good.
here's hoping for more good than bad!...

hhmm... very interesting.

It seems however difficult, ... but i very much like the idea. I think i'll think of a way to see if i can fit it in.

and scorpions??.. ofcourse.. no King Quest game can be complete without one!..

Yes, its like Hollister Man says, its a game that fallows the tradition of original classics, mostly in King's Quest style.

I have managed to decide myself, and i believe that i will release a demo, but that means that i'll have to read the game up, for demo release so that might take a while.

keep those ideas, comming.

Im looking only for monster ideas.... quick deaths... not any kind of puzzles, so it doesnt have to have any story link.. its just for when.. example.. you step on a wrong stone.. a 3 headed chimera comes out and kills you!..

Alright after two weeks of slow, and rather uneven programming i can say that the second sequence of puzzles is done (or the second mini quest).

Although i am sticking to the original idea that i will not release a demo, i sent the demo to Ravenfusion a member of this AGS community, whom was a very good friend whom i hadnt seen on the web for a long time.

He's feedback, was very usefull.. and this has made me rethink about the whole demo idea. But i will decide on this issue till later..

As a part of a please the crowd strategy, i would like to ask all of you to tell me what kind of Monster would you like to see in the desert?

-Any monster idea that you have will be glady accepted.

yeah the idea is great, some people forget that games like LSL, took Adventure Gamming into another more comic (and rude.. yet deadly funny) level.. Keep up the good work.

But for your first proyect, my first recomendation is not to aim too high.. and to make things simple as you can. Dont try to expect a LSL type game from yourself it will only lead to frustration.

After all even the greats first started like all of us.
