Hey all! So the Boston Festival of Indie Games is coming up on September 14th. I'm posting to invite any community members to the completely free event.

For those that don't know about it, Boston FIG is a celebration of New England area game developers and the indie community. There's quite a lineup of awesome things going on this year due to our successful Kickstarter.

There is going to be everything an indie fan could want. There will street games and huge exhibits for digital and tabletop games. Through the day there will be speakers giving keynotes through the day. For example, Robin Hunicke of Journey fame who will be discussing 'Finding Meaning in Gameplay.'

At the end of the day is “Boston Plays Indies” our event we are co-presenting with Harmonix. Video Game Orchestra, Control Group, DJ Cutman, and deadbeatblast will be performing through the night at The Middle East Downstairs.

We also have an art gallery, which is currently accepting submissions.

Looking forward to seeing people there! Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi all! I'm not as much of a game developer as I'm more of a supporter of indie games. I'm actually posting here to let everyone know about the Boston Festival of Indie Games. It will be an all day event, on September 14th at MIT. We are super excited for this year, and want to invite everyone we can find. I'll be posting a bigger thread about it later today.

I've always been a huge fan of the AGS community, and hope to one day make my own game here. I really hope some of you can make it to Boston FIG!
