Is the "Run Script" option selected for button 0? Check at the button's properties.

I think it's towards the south-west on the map. Just roam around a little.

I will agree with Evil Dead 2, the Thing and Romero's DEADs.

The japanese Ring was VERY creepy indeed, but I enjoyed the american version better. It seemed to me it had a more consistent scenario.

PS. Did anyone liked DONNIE DARKO? One of my favorites!

Knocking on the ship achieves nothing, I'm afraid, and the sheep are not in the field as they should.

Any other ideas? Please!

I think the answer is much simpler:

If you want to use this special loop to move towards a CERTAIN direction, create this loop and place it in the equivalent place in the view (i.e 0 for down, 1 for left etc).
When you want to use the loop, script:

  SetCharacterView (The view that contains the special loop);
  MoveCharacterBlocking (EGO, x, y, 0);
  ReleaseCharacterView;

The only problem with this is that you cannot stop the animation until it finishes.
In a game of mine I have a scene where the character moves backwards in terror with the hands covering its mouth. I have used this solution.

If you want, of course, the character to use the loop towards all directions, then you must use a full view that will set with SetCharacterView and ReleaseCharacterView.

If this doesn't help, post the exact scene that you want to achieve and will see at it.

Good luck!

IT? Are you sure?

I have seen it and I think it is the second worst Stephen King movie (the first is Tommyknockers).
I have also read the book and I found it BRILLIANT!

The movie doesn't follow the book at all: It discards some of the best scenes and replaces them with some bad ones (the showers scene, for example).

General Discussion / Favorite horror movie?
Fri 16/07/2004 21:15:15
I am a great fan of horror movies, of any kind, and I wonder what the world thinks about.
What's your favorite?

I personally think Coppola's DRACULA as the best ever. THE SHINING and THE SIXTH SENSE are also of my favorites.

To get the keys for the car. You'll have to give some coffee to the seargent. I think you get a coin by using the machine in the bar. Then use the coin on the coffee machine at the Police Station.

I DO have the same problem, and I DO have a GeForce card.
The strange thing is that this problem began occuring to me SUDDENLY, while it worked normally till then.

I haven't managed to solve it. I just use the compiled folder.

I don't remember exactly, but I think you should take the boat to Coral Reef. Something will happen on course.

Go to the Characters folder and in the "interactions" tree double-click -> "use inventory on character". In the appearing dialog choose from the drop down list "run script".

In the text edito that appears type:

if (character[player].activeinv==x) {
*** dance ***
}
else Display("I don't want to give it.");

where x is the number of the inventory item that represents the bottle, player is the script name of your hero and ***dance*** is the list of commands that you are going to use to make the character dance.

the (not necessary) else-clause will appear if you try to use some other item on the lumberjack.
Experiment a bit

Good luck!

General Discussion / Re: Amiga

I had been an owner of an A500 and later a A1200. I'm from Greece and things got really tough here after Commodore shut down. Amiga stopped being supported. It seemed things would get fixed when E**** (what was the name?) and then Viscorp came into possession of the firm. But nothing changed.
I finally had to turn to these damn PCs.

There is no Amiga in Greece presently.

Which do you think is the best free website host?
I currently use freewebs but it's somewhat slow (500MB monthly).
It provides however 40MB of space!
