So,

if one had a clue to their innocence this would stop you slaying them..

Maybe by a dialog option of choices... slay or don't slay perhaps...?

QuoteBack when there was a quota on how many people you were allowed to murder?
The man is working for the King. But the King will not forgive endless killings of the innocent.

Hi Capt

I was thinking along these lines... kill too many innocents  and it's 'Head off' (laugh)

Well, it is set in very ancient times..

So our guy needs to be certain that any guy is guilty first...

Is kind of what you mean ClickClickClick?

Hi

I have a question.

If you have a weapon and you use it on innocent people generally you say like "I'm not slaying an innocent person."

What about if you could slay them and after so many innocent slayings get called for by the King who sentences you to death for the brutal slayings of many innocent people.

What is your take on this scenario?

cheers

Hi

I'm trying to better get into 'lighting'

How would you 'light' the area around this animating wall flame torch?

All appreciated.

Thanks

Of course you would be correct.. But I expect this new user knows nothing about on_event function ...

Hi

a quick example of one way that should do it...

Code: ags

GLOBAL.asc REP EXECUTE

function repeatedly_execute() {
 if(Player.Room==3 || Player.Room==6 || Player.Room==8){ // Your Dark Rooms
 cGhost.ChangeRoom(player.room); // changes cGhost to player room
 cGhost.FollowCharacter(player, 5, 80); // Distance and eagerness.. Depends what you want to happen.
}
else {
 cGhost.FollowCharacter(null); // stops cGhost following player to next light room
}
}

You could try it...

Hi.

I'v spotted in wix that you can open an HTML editor so you can add/tweak stuff with html code.

It's a WIX site so it's basically a Template with some restrictions...

Still, looks good for a start..

The Day when this game is finally released I hope that this author is content with what he has done and proud of his efforts and will be rewarded with the fact that all the time spent has been worthwhile...

Generally I think we all get that  'I could have done this better' /  'I should have done it that way.'

Fingers crossed that this is not and that the author is content with his finished work (nod)

You have put so much effort into this game far (nod)

Hi

In my opinion if you plan to release a commercial game then you should be original in all your images as much as possible, particularly background images. Or at least make the copied image into an original image that looks quite different from the copied, this includes removing any trademarks.

For a none commercial game it's not as bad, though you should do as you suggested by altering it (Mirroring for example) and maybe adding a thing or two so it looks more original.

Commercial really should be totally original as far as copyright goes, unless you have permission.

Hi Shadow1000

Quotewhat the heck was Betty doing there? You couldn't interact with her and the location was very surprising.
I think I know where you mean... I have fixed it...sent to room not realizing I exceeded that room.

I have also turned off Debug.

I will be fixing anything else i find...

Thank you for your comments,

cheers

Hi Riaise,

I'm glad you are getting an entry in this month.

We still have a week to go so get a spurt on, you can do it....

Unless you have a zillion rooms to change you can do it.

I myself find it hard to focus on colours much of the time and the brighter they are the better I see them.

I tend to be ready early so it gives me time to sort any problem areas out...or at least try...

Keep going (nod)

September's MAG game 'Past and Present'.
Download here
Enjoy the comedic ride as Fred Flintrock and Barney Pebbledash (parody of the Flintstones) endeavor to obtain a Dodo's egg as Wilma, Fred's wife, has planned omelette and Trex Burgers for Lunch... Of course things are never that simple...especially if you happen to be Stoneage Fred Flintrock...

A NASA bag falls out of a wormhole and lands at Fred's feet, having been accidentally dumped into the wormhole from the far future.

Are what's inside the NASA bag going to help Fred get a Dodo's egg?

"Is that wise, Fred?"
"I'm the brains around here, Barney!"

Spoiler

You'll have to play to find out what Fred encounters and has to overcome (laugh)
[close]
'Fred and Barney meet the future' is for September's Mag competition.

Everything done by yours truly (nod)

Specs: 320 x 200.... 32-Bit.... Direct3D9.... NOT a demo....
