I'll start the ball rolling.....

Agent Bond (007) has been sent for because the royal palace has been bugged by the Russians and is needed urgently.

Bond needs to undergo specialist bug training before he is allowed to start the mission at the royal palace and destroy all Russian planted bugs.

However, do MI6 have the REAL Bond or is it a case of mistaken identity?

Soon will be revealed as Bond's specialist bug training is being watched by M and agent Pettigrew.

Game progress: 40%

The Smallest Points

Spoiler

The idea for this game (I once saw this on a Columbo episode) is quite well executed and I again brave Mandle for his attempt to go outside the normal. Whilst the game itself is quite moorish I would have liked a bit more info about completing it. The dot moving to position was fun and I had many attempts to complete the game.. Not yet I'm sad to say :(

The typewriter buttons could have been more visual, particularly the ones that did something (load, save etc).

All in all a fun little game that could be expanded as an intro to a full length game or within a full length game.

Any idea why this error appears?

phylactere233.ash(23): Cannot parse version number: Version string portion was too short or too long.

Called:

Code: ags

  cBond.phylactere("Here, this looks like our guy coming this way.");

QuoteWell he's certainly quick enough to be able to make a brilliant game within the time that's left.
I could but I am reserving and revitalizing my energy with 3 other games on the go.. Maybe the next one (laugh)

Or you can even make a new script in the script tree (give it a name) and add the function there (header script) and of course you can even add random responses instead of getting the same one. You simply call the function as usual.

Example... Made new script named Pick_Random and added this to script Header:

Code: ags

// new module header

function Pick_Random()
{
 int Pickran=Random(2);

 if(Pickran==0)
 cScuminator.SayAt(10, 40, 300,"\"Why would I want to pick that up.\"");
 else if(Pickran==1)
 cScuminator.SayAt(10, 40, 300, "\"I'm not picking that up.\"");
 else if(Pickran==2)
 cScuminator.SayAt(10, 40, 300, "\"Picking that up would be a waste of time.\"");
}

QuoteIf you create template from old game again, will it have same problem again?
:~(
i made a new template and created new game from it and it was ok... not sure why it failed the first tome...
#1997
i made the game in 3.4.0.12

room13.crm and asc
#1998
QuoteWhat do you mean by "the starting room does not get included in the game folder list if rooms", what is the "game folder list of rooms"?
If that's a project tree, how does it show up in the editor?
I mean crm & asc files in the game folder...

Are not visible in game folder itself but visible in editor tree..

All i did was make a template from a game that was ok..loaded that template for a new game and thats when the error appeared saying that the room to start was in another game...

#1999
Hi

having made a template of a game i reloaded the template for new game.. unfortunately the starting room does not get included in the game folder list if rooms and ags errors 'unable to load room as room[n] is of another game.. the room shows up in the editor.

any ideas?
