Can you imagine Captain Kirk writing in his Diary.. rather then a journal (log)?

It has come to my attention over the past few games of mine that it would be great to have a lock mouse command.

EG
Throwing an object at a Hotspot using mouse x y and if you then move the mouse before the object reaches its destination it causes the object to veer off course. If you could command to 'lock the mouse' on mouse click and returning once move has finished this would stop the object veering off course.

I for one would find this very useful instead of going around the houses (nod)

Perhaps windows is not closing the game.. open task manager and see if it is still there...

Thanks guys.

This is where the game starts to really heat up.. no more dolly mixtures from here on (laugh)

I am working on the final scenes at a secret location not listed on any map.....

Danger is all around and you are open to being tortured if caught on your quest to stop Hitler being resurrected...

But before that can you swim in the open ocean without getting swallowed by Great Whites (laugh)

Still looking for songs' you would love to hear on a Diner's Jukebox..

Game progress: 70%

Having walked straight into a set-up and being knocked out the conspiracy plot
goes much deeper with the threat of being fed to the sharks!!

"What shall we do with those meddling FBI agents?"
"Once we are out at sea we'll feed them to the hungry sharks."

The one thing that I always find fascinating about your projects Slasher; is that all the artwork is obviously taken from loads of different places, but when you bring them together, they somehow work!
some are all my doing and some are manipulated.

Thanks for your comments guys, this old boy needs them (laugh)

Update:

Are you able to take static characters (4 views) and create walkcycles?

If you are please contact me.

QuoteCan we say this game may teach us patience?
Well, in the real world this can very much be the case.

However, if you checkout the in-game files, use a bit of common and any fishing knowledge you have then you shouldn't need to have too much patience (laugh)

I am still tweaking the Fishing Panels' many variables and function condition combinations...

Hopefully it will be adjusted to suit all players who will get the chance to win the Fishermans' Cup 2016...

Hi guys,

Few more bits added to the game which is coming on nicely.

Waiting for test reports.

In reply:

I myself was married for over 20 years with three boys...

Quote"Stifling my genius."
Not sure that would have worked unless i was bringing in £ zillions (laugh)

QuoteI was personally hoping for a little more comedy in it
You mean like getting eaten by a huge Pike? (laugh)

QuoteI find fishing to be a boring hobby.
Stick with your knitting, this is a mans' game (laugh)

Gone fishin'

Gone fishin' is a game where you stack up on the beer and head off to your favorite fishing venues to relax and do some fishing.

"When the wife's been nagging or the kids have been playing up or your day has been getting worse do what i do: Grab yourself a couple of cold beers and mosy on down for some relaxing fishing."

With the right bait and tackle you can catch fish like roach, rudd, bream, pike, carp etc....

In each venue (3) there is a monster fish.. can you hook and catch them all?

All fish caught are returned safely to the water and none were harmed during the making of this game.

There are no time limits or an end to the game: play for 5 minutes or play for 5 weeks (laugh)

Catch the most fish and get the prestigious AGS Fishermans' Cup.

This game is currently being tested.

if its only in specific room(s) put the code in the rooms' Room Load.

If you want to disable a characters walk scaling forever do it in the characters property events panel.

QuoteAww damn. I feel pretty bad about this but it was in fact a cruel April Fools Day Prank. I was going to leave it longer to reveal the truth but you've all been so kind that it feels wrong to keep it going.

Nice one son....

Mind you, some people are more players than developers..

No one said it was ever that easy (nod)

Game on Stupot+ ;)

Time and motivation Danvzare. Last year was a really bad one for that.
I expect that could happen to me one year..

Whilst animal suffering appalls me (fish included) in the real world one has to take the fact that most fisherman (coarse fishermen) handle the fish with care and respect and always try to return then unhurt.. a brief moment of distress for the fish is no doubt true.

I intend to stress this point when you catch and return fish 'unharmed' within the game and also credit: "No fish were harmed in the making of this game." (laugh)

Retro Wolf:  you had a good idea there (nod)

There is a monster fish at each venue (3) that you could catch with the right gear and at the right time..

I  think that with all this in mind a fishing game can be enjoyable if it follows a few basic rules and shows an actual respect.
