Conspiracy: Below zero.

FBI agents Malden and Leech try to conclude another baffling conspiracy case that the government won't acknowledge.

This conspiracy involves a myth that Hitler was frozen in an ice chamber (known as project 'Below zero') to be brought back in a future time. It was body doubles who committed suicide in the bunker that fateful day on 29th April 1945.

A letter arrives at the FBI claiming that the myth is in fact true.

Who is the mysterious smoking guy?

Did Hitler really die in the bunker that day? Is project 'Below zero' just a myth?

"The truth is here. Trust no one. We are ready to believe."

This is a more serious venture than my previous games......

Above everything else i must commend highly the people that have worked so very hard improving the capabilities of AGS.. and unpaid..

They have looked at the nuts and bolts, toyed with them, made changes to them all in the sake of improvement.

Whilst some of these improvements are greatly welcomed there are costs that at times can't be paid.

Most of us could sit down and write a thousand things we would like AGS to be.. but then we don't have to tinker with the engine, do we?

When Chris first made the AGS engine he made it apt for the time and no one questioned it. But over time people wanted more and more that pushed the Editor to further limits. Chris had done his job: But now was the time for new blood to take the reins and make the beast roar louder.

I think for one guy to stand alone is far too much to comprehend. Now as a team that would be a different matter, provided they all had the same goals and could work very well together with great knowledge.

I say this because no matter how good a 'brought in' coder is he is not worth a bag of salt if he does not have the heart of AGS within him or the fundamental workings or what gaming is all about. It would be far too much if he lacked these elements.. of course money helps but that is not always the case for success.

As each Beta is made so the engine is being tested for new improvements and additions.

I think the open source is a good idea but too many cooks....

So before hiring anyone just make sure they have all the right qualities required to bring AGS forward into the 21st century...but it would be at a price...

Just my view ;)

Site & Forum Reports / New Forum addition
Wed 17/02/2016 13:25:42
It would be a great enhancement to the AGS site if there was another Forum added.

I propose a Game Setup and Scripting Tips where experienced members could add Setup and Scripting Tips beyond actual beginners questions.

Member can Post but there would be no 'Reply' link as this is not for asking questions but to find answers, and naturally Mods would moderate the posts.

There are tons of things that beginners don't know or comprehend. For example: Stopping certain actions when a GUI is shown as the clicks go through the GUI or which Filter to use to best run a particular game for instance. This is an endless entity.

Experienced members would simply add useful posts that may cut down some of the question in the Beginners Forum.

Members could peruse the Game Setup and Scripting Tips and hopefully pick up helpful advice.

Comments / views welcomed.

Hi

I am submitting 'Let's Cook: with Koala' for consideration for the 2015 AGS Awards.

A cooking game mainly aimed at children but then again who does not like a scrumptious Knickerbocker glory or tasty coconut curry?

As well as learning to cook, Koala your chef guide explains how to avoid the dangers that may occur in the kitchen and also offers you safety tips as well as being open to any questions you may have.

Together you can make some mouth-watering dishes by finding the ingredients and following the cooking method.

Once you have made a dish, Koala will issue you with a 'Certificate of excellence' which is saved for you to print out and put on your wall or elsewhere.

A fun game where you not only just learn to cook but become aware of dangers and learn safety tips...

I wish to thank all those that helped make this game possible (nod)
