Tomb Hunter: Ramitupem

Can archaeologist Bert Jones find the missing professor Hinkley and Ramitupem's tomb who's pyramid had
sank deep down in the desert sands and had been 'lost' for four thousand years?

Explore Ramitupem's pyramid.

Is there really a curse?

Come face to face with mummies.

Encounter scarabs.

More than one route you can take.

This is a game of choices.

Custom made two cursor one click operations.

Download here..

Happy Tomb hunting ;)

Well, Captain,

I was not sure about adding any humour to this game. But where would we be without the odd rare chuckle somewhere in the void of space (like having a character named Kat who loves sleep... and fish: Frankenstein... nudge nudge wink wink)? (laugh)

Each task becomes multiple so it's not always straight laced ;)

So far so good. It's coming together nicely if a little slow...

Game progress: Task one (of many) 90%

Looks stellar!

I need to know what the HAL button does!  Like, does it bring the ominously maleficent dysfunctioning AI online?  What purpose could this have in a point and click!?  I'll need to pre-order and Kickstart this just for that!

If it's just a Hotdog And Lasagna drone-delivery button or something, I'm going to be really sad though.  (JK, I love hotdogs!)

Keep up the good work, Slasher!
HAL is in the image. He pops up with information and personal comments when required plus you can ask him questions. He is quite a useful AI to have around and also as a kind of 'friend' (laugh)

New title

"Space: The final frontier
These are the voyages of the Starship, Horizon
Its 5 year mission
To explore strange new worlds
To seek out new life and new civilizations
To boldly go where no man has gone before..."

Saving a planet from bring terra-formed is just one task of many that occur on your ship USS Horizon.

You have a resourceful, logical thinking AI computer HAL, a radar, thruster controls and more at your disposal.

Holograms and 3D make up some of this game.

This is a non-see player (just his hand).

2 cursor modes only: interact / use inventory.

Screenshots in production:

Princess Leila of Goladia projects her hologram to your spaceship and asks for your help against the Skaron's death ray

Crimson Wizard

Quotein very large rooms built-in AGS pathfinding works really slow.
yeah, i find it best to split walk (block) into more than one command if walking a long way.

Hi

Having been a DirectDraw user since the year dot I am now able to make games with d3d.

Therefore I am a d3d newbie and need some help and advice.

What help I require is the major differences and limitations.

I know, for example in d3d you should never use:

Code: ags
player.IgnoreWalkbehinds=false;

What else should I be made aware of?

Also, if ags 3.3.2.0 is stable enough to begin making games without hassle?

Thank you

A tadge of gamma would be a+

good image though ;)

A lot of developers on Gamejolt use it.

Most seem to think that ags is too out-dated.

tsa Hint:
Spoiler

Look at the trousers hanging on the shower cubicle. You need to then distract the alien away from the shower cubicle.

Good (nod)

it also pays to save your game very often then you know instinctively your last scripting movements should an error occur ;)

QuoteWhat is the maximum size of the background? And will it slow the game down if it is a huge background?
Backgrounds imported that are larger than the set game res will make it become scroll-able. If a background is much much larger then yes, it could slow the game a little. I don't know if there is a max background size. Of course you have to take into account your CPU.
QuoteWill large amounts of characters or objects slow it down?
On top of this if you add many characters/objects it won't slow down much more unless you have a lot of animations going on at the same time: like a crowded pub for instance where everyone is talking or doing things at the same time.

I think getting the right 'balance' is the key.
