Hi,

Thank you for all your comments. I'm working hard on this game to make sure everything works fine and that it reflects the chosen subject.

This game will contain some horrific scenes that will disturb some people of a weak disposition.

Here you are arriving at the Pig's Head Pub (Updated) before being told that Miss Dolcet Brown has been found murdered, she'd been slashed to pieces!:

Hi,

I don't know if it's me or ags but when in preview window(after compiling) the speech files run one after the other ignoring everything else... In setup full screen the speech files run as they should.

Ex: &1 &2  &3 play one after the other in compiled preview window:

Any ideas as to why?

Ref: Note for Khris.

Is it the nature of the beast that the GroundReflection module disables animate backgrounds because I notice that no background animates if the module becomes enabled? I disabled the module and the background animates ok.

Mysterious gentleman: Insane and hires grave robbers.

I always thought that if light source was to the right of you then reflective shadow would be to the left of you and vice versa  etc etc :-\

PS For  mirror / water reflection then I have to agree with you. ;)

Hi,

I think that Khris' GroundReflection module has possibilities and could come in very useful, in fact I have a use for it in my latest game. Tried and it works fine.

My only wishlist would be for the 'reflection' to be dictated by where the light source is coming from, especially View 1 and 2.

I suppose I could use a gui (non pause game with a label) with a click outside the gui to close it as an alternative.

Hi Andail,

The main reason for my asking is because normal Display stops (blocks)the SimpleRain I have. I could use a gui disguised as the Display but then I would need to do a Click to clear it and Saybackgound would not look like the Display.

Although this I suppose is acceptable it would be nice to have no block.

The Frame rate was set to 1 per second which is the best I'v had so far.
