I have also had a negative comment from this guy. It seems he had a Trojan alert and about how it took 32 minutes to download my game.

Am I feeding a troll?

You can't expect to always get good comments so I guess I'll let it pass.

Hi,

I'm only working on one cylinder today.

I'm trying to use an inventory item hover over a button (Button28 is the slot for a DVD).

The inventory can be any one of 4 music DVD's.

This works but is not refined enough.

Not sure. Can you help me please?

Hi

I'm not sure what is causing this problem, things are generally ok.

It got to a point where I imported a fresh global, no changes what-so-ever. My room opens with a splash gui.

I did have it to just show interact and after when the splash screen was closed employ the rest of the modes. But none of the mouse modes worked.

When I did the above (import new global) and played the game again, I just got the walk mode, no other modes.

The room / global script has no references to mouse modes enable/disable.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

That appears to be the problem. Is there a work-around to allow mouse mode interacting with the transparent center area of the screen? 

Think view of a cockpit with window and controls.

EDIT: I have a full screen GUI with a transparent center. Obviuously it's clickable as it has buttons and stuff on therefore it is clickable.

Would it be better to make 4 individual gui's: Top, Bottom, Left and Right?

I am referring if YOU have a GOOD FRIEND or RELATIVE that you could may a payment to and then collect the money from them when its all clear. Its just a way of getting your cash. Not the way things should work but at least you'll get some money. Paypal, owned by ebay, leave a lot to be desired.

I was a paypal member for 9 years.

There used to be a FloatingHotspot module that showed @OVERHOTSPOT@ on cursor. Is this still downloadable as I can't seem to find it and the file seems to have been deleted?

I believe:
Pointing to an animation just gives an 'instance' of that animation which could be used a 1000 times. It does not make copies that would add to file size. This applies to any character or object animation. If you have an object in your sprites folder you can use it as many times as you like and the above applies.

And selmiak: If that were truly the case we would all be in for a very heavy time indeed!

This may sound silly, but it has been done, have you actually entered any interactions into the objects events panel?

These interaction events (interact, look, talk etc) are built-in AGS functions and should NOT be just typed into the room script.

You can / should keep taking the pills whilst your heart is still beating hard until it stops. You should then say something like you should save them until you really need them.

When you go to confront Tasan it will depend on your anxiety level as to how many pills you will need to take to calm right down and proceed.

If you except the fact that when your anxiety level soars high and your heart is pumping away it should give you a sort of an 'alarming urgency' which the pills can help calm down. Light also calms you down a bit.

Your anxiety level, heart pounding and pills are used mainly for 'effect', and of course you do need to be calm before you face Tasan.
