The trailer is hilarious. I like the mspaint graphics, they're lookin' good! I'm playing this for sure when it's finished.

Just finished it. Great job, I loved it. Only one thing:

Spoiler
I wanted more at the end. Just a tad bit, maybe a glimpse of what she looks like behind the mask? Something super creepy  ;D But I suppose its a good thing that it kept me wanting more.

Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It did an awesome job at getting me to want to continue playing, and that's worth a lot in a game.

Thanks, david! And thanks for reporting the bug. I've updated the game, fixing the aforementioned bugs.

Haha, okay I see what you're talking about now.

Spoiler
When you click at the very top of the stairs coming from the right of the living room, the path-finder tries to go there, and moves up the walk-able area that enters the bedroom

So, you're not crazy! ;) Thanks for pointing that out.  If there are any other bugs reported, I'll be sure to put that in the "things to fix" list. :)

Congratulations Maddox! Great game.

Thanks! Glad you liked it. And thanks again for testing. :)

Whee, it's done! Downloading my cuppa copy...

And done. Very short, but nicely polished and really fun to play. I loved the animated inventory window, it's rare that people bother with that sort of eye candy.
A nice little "twist" in the end, too (albeit a very cruel one* that left me feeling VERY sorry for the heroine!)

Thank you. I like your sense of humor, haha. I'm glad you liked the extra little stuff, because it was a pain to program for some reason. I'm glad the "twist" worked out, I was getting worried it might have seemed too lazy.  :=

Great to see you finished it. Downloading now

It was great for me to see it finished as well, haha.

Thanks for the nice comment! On the other note, I tested what you were talking about, and I can't find anything wrong. Maybe I'm misreading what you said? :)

Cherry's Quest for Coffee

Well, it took me longer than expected for such a short game. But it's finally done!

The news says there's a temporary worldwide coffee shortage. After waking up, Cherry Starma discovers she is completely out of jo. Perhaps the store will have a can left... she'll  find out soon enough.

This looks awesome! I like the construction paper look, very creative! I can't wait to play it when it's finished.

Looks really nice, especially since this looks to be your first game. Way better looking than mine was!  ;)
Especially love that portrait of her, she's cuddly cute!

My main suggestion: download a different font. For example, www.dafont.com has a bunch of fonts that are suitable for AGS use with very little tinkering and just changing the default font gives a game a lot cleaner look.

Keep up the good work!

Hey, thanks! I did as you suggested. :)

Cherry's Quest for Coffee

During a worldwide coffee shortage, Cherry Starma discovers her can is empty! Will the store have any left?

UPDATE
COMPLETED

I decided this game would be decent enough to release soon. It's quite short, but it's taking me a while to complete. I work on it during free time, and that's a rarity nowadays. Completion is on the horizon, though. I've enjoyed AGS so far, and love working with it. I hope this short lighthearted game will be enjoyable to play as much as it is creating it.

Critics' Lounge / Re: Game Music

Thanks!

The LSD plugin comes with it, I believe. I just put it in the mixer and set the ports the same as the midi outs in the pattern editor. It sounds the same as general midi, but you can add effects underneath the LSD plugin, and export midi to wav, or what ever you want.

I've always liked the midi sound, but I also like the use of compressors. And this little diddy is what came out of it.

I've been playing around with Fruity Loops, and the LSD plug-in. I wanted to keep the midi type sound, but enhance it a little bit.

Would this defeat the purpose of simply not using midi? I know that a few people have soundcards that don't support midi.
