Yes, Vel, I agree (forgot to mention earlier). You should pick what you think would fit (most likely digital) and stick to it. You need the music to be consistant throughout the game and each scene whether you've got 1 composer or 30. But I say have 1 composer, since, like I said, the music must be consistant. If you have more than one it'll be all fucked up ;)

Fuckin Christ, why didn't I spot this before? This rocks, man! I love this picture! You can never go wrong with zombies ;D
The anatomy seems fine to me, d00d.

General Discussion / Re:I LOVE ERIC FEURSTEIN

How could I resist that ass...

*pinky swears*

I didn't mean what I said about Eric being a better lover...we only soaked the sausages once. To be honest, his meat is a little too big.

Nah, it'll be Leitor's Edge, eventhough it'll be 300 years before it's release...

QuoteThey require a proper animator. Someone like Eric or Igor.
Not that I'm taking sides, but they aren't the only good animators here. I'm not known as a good artist nor a good animator (though I have nothing to show for it anyway) but I feel that I am. I think I'd do the job right if I wanted to do it.
Anyhoo, I'm sure someone will do it right for his game.

About the research bit. Quit the harping, guys. Wether it's 300 pages or not, I'm sure he's not qoing to throw every fact in the game, most likely he's going to use it as a reference and use things as he needs them. Sure he won't just throw a bunch of jumbled up notes in there in hopes of making it sound better.

Yes, he's got the rep of a smart-assed jack-ass, but that didn't stop me from wanting him to help with the character developement in my game. He's very focussed and a good writer. He just needs to learn how to shut his mouth when needed...

All the luck to ye, Vel.

You're supposed to be my little love muffins, my homowarrior, my homoeroticrainbowmachine! And this is how you spend your time? Trying to get into colossal man's legs? Well I never.

Completed Game Announcements / Re:ISN: Kill!

I just finished it, and I loved every minute of it. It's one of my favorite AGS games so far :D I loved it when you kept

exploding the useless items (I was kind of expecting the lady to self distruct in the end...har!
[close]
heh, you've got some great humor.

Keep up the great work in future ISN games...

NOTE TO EVERYONE ELSE WITH THE SMALL ICONS PROBLEM:
Try switching the resolution to 640x400. The game was meant for it, though it doesn't say in the readme (tsk tsk!!). You can see them perfectly then...unless you've got a small monitor.

General Discussion / Re:Why I'm not using AGS

Shouldn't this thread be in the Who Gives a Fuck? forum?

Cos, your decision to use a different adventure game engine other than AGS is perfectly fine, but to actually go to the AGS forums and explain why you chose not to use it is a little obsurd me thinks.

Terran, I think that's a cool idea.

I plan on making a cartoon series soon...not sure when since nothing I do is ever finished :P But I think of doing it all the time.

Jesus, Rick, is my sig really that bad that you had to make a thread about it?

PS
No really, how annoying is it?

Good looking game you've got going, I like the plot :)
The only thing that kind of bothers me (but isn't a big deal) is that the colors are bright and distracting.

Can't wait for the demo :D

ARGH, ME EYES ARE MELTING!!!1

No, your eyes are fine, that glunker you've just read is true!

Squinky and I have decided to finaly continue this game after he completes Pirate Fry 2: The hand of Anturus.

So be on the look out for updates :)

Our plans:
What we need to do is shorten it...it's too damned big!1  ARGH! We might be aiming at a medium sized game instead of a full one. It'll still be the cheese on the cheese cake though! Cheese cake? Shit.

Ah well...what do you guys think? The hell with it or YAY!!
?

The Legend of Leitor's Edge
And for those LE fans, don't worry. It's still being done :) I still need to get things together with the storyline. Currently I'm remaking the intro, just started it last night. So far what I have done I think is a bit better. So hopefully this will get rolling soon aswell.

I use 1024x768

Good enough for me. Everything seems so damned big and in the way if I use anything smaller.

QuoteET. The Extra Terrestrial (come on, who when they were little didn't get freaked out when the kids found him and he freaked out going OWOOAOAOW!!!!!11)
lol! Holy shit I remember that! I love that part! Did you see the other version where they used computer graphics for ET? It sucks...I like the robot munchkin ET better :P

Mine are:
The Return of the Living Dead - Jesus Christ I love this movie. Can't wait until I find the DVD. The most memorable moment from that movie is when Gina goes down in the basement and that black slimey motherfucker pops out of nowhere...yikes

Amityville(sp?) 1 - I love the part where that girl is telling her mother that she scared her friend away and she flew out the window...she goes and checks and...BWAHAHAHA!!!1 SHIT!
closes eyes and covers face...then wipes his ass with Boyd's hair

The Ring - I just recently saw this. Everyone on IRC thinks it sucks, but poobungies to them because I liked it. The beginning freaked me out the most since the legend was built up and shit went from there, then that girl went up to her room and REEEEEEEEEAAAARGH! Damn.
I'd like to see Ringu since it looks a lot freakier.

I can't think of anything else...

One thing I'm getting sick of, is all these movies that have these little kids that know everything about what's going on and such...it's so damned cliche it's not funny. Know what I'm saying? Was it "The Sixth Sence" that started it or what??

Anyway, if I think of anymore movies I like, I'll post again.

cya

Yuffy, you're a dweeboid ;)

Like I already told you, your art slap's the cat's ass. That cutscene pic is awesome (the same goes for the one you showed me through IRC). Keep it up, and get a c00kie!!1

Hurry up, damn you.
