QuoteHow many people worked on the project?
Currently there are 5 people working on it:
Me
Squinky
Rincewind
Vel
Loominous - Original Soundtrack

QuoteHow long did it take?
It's not done yet.

QuoteWhat inspired you to make this game?
That's a good question. Years ago during school, I was helping a friend out with a writing assignment. She had to come up with an original idea and write a short story. It had to include a golden harp though. So I came up with this idea where this magic harp sat next to a small pond in some uncharted area in the woods. The main character stumbles upon this harp looking for his lost dog. He ends up strumming a few notes. The water started to bubble slightly and being curious, the main character gets in the water and swims under to see where it was coming from. But instead of hitting bottom when he merged into the muck and seaweed, he mysteriously hits air and surfaces in another world...which is very similar to what happens in this game.
So the portal in the water idea originated from this story.

Another thing that inspired this game would be some desktop background I had for a while that I put on there from the internet. It was just a simple picture of the sky with the stars over the ocean. The color was a mix of black and blue with the sun just dissapearing completely, it was awesome. I love stars anyway to begin with. I found myself from time to time just staring at it...it gave me a feeling of escaping and just getting away from everything, being alone and relaxed with no cares...almost as if I went to another place and never had to come back. I wish I saved that picture, it was great.

The Legend of Leitor's Edge is a combination of my dreams, fantasys, fears and imagination.

QuoteApproximately how many hours gameplay?
It's not done yet.

QuoteCan we have a sneak preview of the type of puzzles found in this game?
It's too early to tell, but you can expect:
Riddles
Action Sequences
Few waiting puzzles
Time Limit
Traps/Dropping items in specific places
Combining inventory items with others
Maze Puzzles - Would making decisions that branch the story and alter future events be considered a kind of maze puzzle?

QuoteQuite naturally, this leads to my next question, can I come and live with you?
Most definately.

It's nice to be wanted, although you were kidding, so I'm pissed ;)

Let's not get off topic now...and I'm supposed to be the moderator...  ::)

Any questions from anybody about the game at all? (not directed at the staff but to the readers and possible fans (besides Yuffy)...harhar)

How'd you guys like the intro?

Anyway, Squinky, organized is something I hit with luck ;) I thought everything I sent was either not enough or way too mooshed together...heh...I'm usually self concious and think everything I do sucks all the time anyway....

Blargh

Haven't you read the forum rules? One thread per game! You naughty bandwidth-hog, you! Please use the existing thread http://www.agsforums.com/yabb/index.php?board=8;action=display;threadid=3477  ;)

*SSH does his "I caught out a moderator" dance*

Actually no. He should have made a seperate thread for each KI and FoY a long time ago. This thread should have been seperated into those two threads and the thread that you linked to (the FoY wallpaper one) should have been in the FoY thread.

You've done wrong M0Ds ;)

But the news you've given us is great, anyhoodily.

Holy Crap!1 This game is going to totally slap the cat's ass!

;)

I love the story you given us, and the BG's totally rule. I'm very jealous that you've got the story/plot/script finished. Actually, more envious than jealous. For Leitor's Edge I've got the main idea down, but the inbetween stuff is a major blur ;) You rock, girlie!

And you've scored major points on the promotion you've got here. Everybody should take hints from this (like many others' threads) and my Monkey Wrench one ;)

Off-topic posts and smart-ass remarks removed.
Now, PLEASE stay on topic.
ONLY post if you have something good to say about MHawk's project and/or if you have any suggestions regarding graphics/sound/etc...nothing regarding Tierra's remake. DON'T force me to lock this thread, it would be unfair to MHawk... as if it's not unfair already with everyone arguing in his promotional thread, while not paying any mind to his progress.

Well, this is the night after, and I have nothing to send. I do, but I'd rather not send it until it's done. What I'm doing is sending a big document on everything that I've planned, information on the game, crap like that. I'm also going to send the Story Map and LE-Notes doc.

Soon, I say, soon. Like within the next couple days. I'm sorry. There's just a LOT of shit that needs to be done first before I can actually have time again.

Gotta go,

Sorry for double posting.

Well, I wasn't able to work like a sonofabitch today. There's was field work to be done. And tomorrow's going to be a big rock picking day. yay.

I'll work on it tonight. So I'm shooting for tomorrow night. If not then, than definately the night after.
