MillsJROSS!!?! Holy hell! Great to see you back, man!

I remember chatting with you quite a bit on IRC and that was like 10 years ago or something. Great times :)

What, no love for $AUTOCOMPLETENOINHERIT$? :P

(Which, by the way, is currently only used AFAIK by the GUIControl class to prevent such confusingly useless members as Button.AsLabel and Slider.AsInvWindow.)
Oh.
Your name is Monkey, but you're really such a turkey :-D

Sounds good, Foz! Can you reupload the screenshots? They've dissapeared 0_0

I heard about this on YouTube through Cornshaq's video. I hadn't heard of him before then, but watched a few of his videos afterwards. A pretty creative and funny guy he was. RIP

QuoteSome people might remember the concept as my abortive Bake Sale game from two years ago.
I KNEW this looked familiar! HA!

Anyway this sounds amazing and I'm highly anticipating it :)

Nice little game, Stupot! I love the looks of it :D

Yo, Dualdo, I finally got around to playing this! Great little game, man :) I really liked the atmosphere you created. Some really good coding, at least stuff I'd never be able to do since I can't script...but yeah, the computer screen was cool and I also dig the little menus that pop up when interacting with stuff... which is something I had been considering doing in Leitor's Edge for years since it let's you expand the possibilities of interaction vastly!

Great job on this one Duals! I enjoyed it very much and I'm glad I finally sat down to play it!

I'm looking forward to playing this today! I have a few other things I need to get done, but there's always room for a new game :)

Can't wait to find out what this guy has for junk!

\\--EDIT--//
Played for a few minutes finally! I love it so far, the humor is great. Definitely a game I'll remember to finish O_O
Now on to another game I've been meaning to play! <--trying to budget my time! There's something important I need to do and I actually have time to do it!

Or use JoyToKey :)
You'd think, Khris, that you created JoyToKey the way you whore it out all the time (laugh)

JoyToKey IS pretty "neat-o".

JAN! I LOVE this game :-D I've spent the last few days playing it. I've been hollering, swearing and having a blast during it all. I love the music and the graphics and it controls very well! It feels and sounds much like an actual NES game, which gets it bonus points right away anyway. NES rocks the shit out of anything else, IMHO.

I am playing it with my NES USB controller and on the TV! AWESOME.

I can tell you, if it wasn't for gamepad support, I wouldn't be playing this game. Games like this NEED to be played like this. I say that because I know it would be too hard played with the keyboard... you need to have precise movements and reflexes, which, I feel, only a gamepad can allow you to do. This is one of the main reasons, I think, that my game (which will remain nameless) failed ;)

I haven't played with the level editor yet, but I will eventually.

I really wish I could configure the NES controller to utilize the START and SELECT buttons, though. This isn't a big deal, but it IS a small pain when you're lazy to have to get up off the couch to press the ESC button to get back to the main screen or exit a menu.

This is a really great game over all. I can't find any more things to write about it, so I'll ramble on about it at the next band meeting ;)

I'm glad you got it up on GameJolt! You've already got tons of people playing it. I've followed it so I can recieve any updates :cheesy:

Welcome Qbee ;-D

I watched the YouTube video and I loved it! You made it with QB64? Pretty cool. I love what the game looks like and I also like the action sequences with the shooting.

I see I was also the first to "like" your video! Everyone else are bozos! ;)

I haven't played the game yet, but I will play as soon as I have a chance and remember!

It will be released... *pulls down monocle slowly, accidentally brushing against his bushy mustache*... Leitor ;)

What a great thread! Now I can check it obsessively to see if anyone is asking about MY game (I'm not mentioning the name, it's sort of a legend so it should go without saying)!

I've been wondering about more McCarthy Chronicles? How are those going, Calin, if any?

My fancy is tickled, that's for sure. I LOVE (absolutely LOVE) the backgrounds, which is what drew me in to read about it.

I'm looking forward to this! Please keep us updated :)

PS
Personal opinion here: Mixed resolutions just don't work. It looks unnatural and always gives me a cheap, unprofessional impression which tends to ruin it for me. By the screenshots, cheap and unprofessional is not what you are, so why not keep the resolution at 320x200(or 240) or whatever resolution the BGs are made at? If you need the game to run in a higher resolution but you want to keep the pixelated look, there is an option in AGS somewhere that will scale all the text, cursors and sprites to the lower res... or something of the sort... it's been a while for me ;)

Maybe it is the "smoothed scaled sprites" as Ben has suggested...?

Hey! I don't play Battlefield 3 or any games related, but I just wanted to take a moment to tell you that you are awesome, Peder! You do a lot for this community :)
