THANK YOU ALL!!

:D

\\--EDIT--//

Too bad my good friend, Dualnames, hasn't said it...

Squinky you son of a bitch!

I know, man, I haven't gotten back to you yet on your last PM... I will!

QuoteOr maybe they regurgitate a little while after they're done feeding and throw up the little pieces of undevoured tissue and bone fragments and leaving piles of vomit on the ground.
I'll go with this one as well.

I'm sorry, Butcher, this post isn't helpful, but I shall post anyway ;)

I don't follow any of these sites or read e-zines or anything of the sort - unless I happen upon an article whilst searching or somebody gives me a link. They could vanish from existence just from one caress across Leafshade's left nut at midnight tonight and I probably wouldn't even notice.

Even though reading articles about games from somebody else's point of view is entertaining, I don't take any of it to heart, where as, what they are saying is to my benefit to whether I will enjoy the game or not (even if what they are saying is to my liking).

I guess what I am getting at is I don't base what I am going to like and purchase/download on reviews, which is why I don't have any interest in reading them regularly.

There are specific things I look for in games, so most of the time I know what I am getting before hand. I am satisfied most of the time.

I play what I want and I want what I play. Yo ho ho and a bottle of Rum.

*Snake dances on a dead man's chest

But anyway, enough lollygagging, check out MY game reviews blog.

I think this is a great idea!

Although joining and making a game is unlikely for me ;)

Maybe 2012 could be the "Year of the TV Shows" for MAGS. Each month could be a different TV show - previously voted on after the last month is decided. Unlikely since it's an entire year devoted to TV shows, but it's an idea.

It all boils down to personal liking or whether or not you've even seen the show. Yes, this idea was a bit silly, I'm sure. Don't worry, you, this post will go unnoticed anyway.

Critics' Lounge / Re: BG - theatre - toilets

I love your BG style! I love them even before you get help (personally I love the bathroom one before there were edits!).

QuoteWithout wanting to give away too much about the game, I need to have an alternative version of the corridor, with stone walls (think castle-style construction).
I call time travel or traveling between alternate dimensions!

Sorry for the pointless post, but I found this rather randomly tonight and figured, "Why the hell not tell him that I like his backgrounds?" :)

You know what?I can't wait for this game. I had forgotten about it until just now seeing your new screenshots.

That line in the bathroom made me laugh out loud and I'm still giggling to myself. Good thing the wife's gone to work.

Unless I've missed it, apparently I never posted... I thought I did. I like the graphics a bunch, the title makes me laugh just thinking about it and it seems it'll have some great humor.

Looking forward :D

QuoteTo think you've brought endless hours of enjoyment to literally millions of peoples lives, asking nothing in return. You sir have truly contributed to this world.
That would make a great toast.

Oh my fucking God! It's the man with no pants! Strike me dead if I am wrong in remembering you as the naked-from-the-waist-down guy...

Back from AGS oblivion is right! It's great to hear about what you've been up to!

You probably don't remember me, but I was around on the old EZ Board forum long before you left - my nickname then was SnakeEggz. I remember you and the rest of the gang you mentioned above.

GREAT to see you return and I'd love to see you make more games :D

PS
And people around here started thinking AGS was dying... *pfft

I agree with Anian. I would like to see screenshots after I read what the game is about :)

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but, what's going on with this one, Calin?

AGS Games in Production / Re: Byrne In Hell

Sounds great to me, Absentia. You don't need to be graphic to get a point across. Most movies (horror movies are what I'm targeting here, mostly) now days seem to think that the more they show, the more gruesome or "dark"... or even, "the better the movie".

Sometimes not saying or seeing a damn thing could be the most descriptive and immersive.

On the subject of a Back to the Future adventure game, I would love to see what Terran had already mentioned. Except in the classic adventure game style, such as Monkey Island. I can't wait to get my free copy of Telltale's next month, but I would love to see it in the 2D style. LucasArts should make one ;)

I always thought that the show Law & Order would make a great series of adventure games. And of course, McGyver would make a kick-ass adventure game.

For help on ideas and whatever else, please post somewhere else, whether it be the Critic's Lounge or Adventure Related Talk and Chat.

Please keep this thread on topic :)

About the game:
I like the premise of this game a lot better than your last (which I have not played - honestly, there's was nothing about it that interested me). Seems it'll be humorous. Take your time with this one and I'm sure it'll be a funny little series (if you choose to make it one).

Very nice! I'm looking forward to this one. Sounds like it'll be a great little game :D

You should add a cigarette machine somewhere. Hell needs a cigarette machine!

\\--EDIT--//
Very nice GiP thread, by the way. Thank you!

My wife told me the other night that she read (or heard - can't remember which) that some scientist or whoever the hell this person may be, recalculated and the "end of the world" isn't until 2013. Where has she heard this? Is there some truth to it? Has anyone else heard of this?

Quote from: KhrisMUCI don't think that it's more likely that we're in a simulated universe; my gut tells me that our universe is way to complex to be a product of intelligent beings. Sounds paradoxical, but I think the complexity is evidence for a natural origin.

I would agree naturally, but for the sake of this discussion:

Being a product within a simulated world, we would have no idea how to measure this complexity you speak of. How could we decipher between what is too complex to be a simulated world and what is of natural origin? If this were a simulated world, what we know to be "natural" is simulation. We would be absolutely blind to what is what. What we think to be too complex, could be insignificant in the big picture.
