Incredible :)
Looks like it's gonna have some great humor and fun video clips to watch. I'm also wondering, is it a spoof of some sort of Space Quest, as mentioned previously by Ascovel? Or just completely inspired by it?

Also, unless I've missed some, the trailer just shows movie clips and no gameplay. Will there be a gameplay trailer out soon?

I always get confused as to who the moderator is since it doesn't say on this forum like the others (at least for me anyway).

M0ds. Come on, man. Have you lost the key?

Quotewhy is this board not moderated
the AGS Games in Production is so well moderated,
and in the most important section of the forum with finished games, everyone can post crab?
I was going to suggest we elect another moderator to help m0dsie out, but after I thought about it, there was never a problem in this forum until now. Maybe this will just end up being one of those rare occasions that a post needs to be locked. *cough*

\\--EDIT--//
To put my previous post in perspective, Technobabylon - Part II hasn't reached page 2, The Rage of the Waters hasn't even got a response yet and Professor Neely and the Death Ray of Doom, like Technobabylon 2, hasn't reached a second page. This thread has been allowed to stay open for way too long and is now on it's third page. I realize that me responding to it just adds to it, but please, this is absurd. It's not April 1st.

And yes, it makes a difference.

Hardily.

Hoodily.

Hoo.

Icing: I want to let you know that you just beat out Virtualpsycho. My signature is no longer wanting to do nothing more than crank out games. It is now doing a lot of thinking.

PS
m0dsie, lock this already, would yay? Other games need to be the first in the list, not this. Deserving games are being corn-holed. Let him take this elsewhere, no?

\\--EDIT--//
QuoteAs for my old name...I think I rather have a vote on whether it should go back to icey. I did get a lot of extra names from having that.
So why don't you create a thread about it? It would be a fun get-together for the community to vote on what your next name will be! This new name will indeed be your third installment, so I think it will certainly deserve, "Gold Hits", after!

I CALLED IT!!1

\\--EDIT2--//
And I am joking about making a new thread wanting people to vote for your new name. Don't do it. I am making fun. It's a completely stupid idea. Just change the damned thing if you want, no contests need to be held.

Have you tried getting through the malfunctioning door?

Very exciting. I am excited. I guess the talking animations are an acquired taste? I was never a fan of 3d characters talking, anyway. It never seems right, IMHO. The scenes seem very well done. I can't wait to walk around Hill Valley and Doc's place :D

QuoteSpeaking of which, the colour based actions system was the only part of the game I found confusing (counter-intuitive) and couldn't get used to, no matter what. Loved everything else! Thanks for developing and sharing.
I agree. It's very tough. It reminded me of Mario 64, though, which was neat...

Hey!

To get into the lab, here's hint #1:
Spoiler
Read Spliner's Diary a bit more and you'll find the pass code...
[close]

Hint #2:
Spoiler
You've got to make a disguise, which you've already figured out from the panel. Neely says he can't get in because he doesn't look like Spliner...
[close]

Further?
Hint #3:
Spoiler
There is a painting of Spliner in the foyer.
[close]

Still stuck? Here's the answer!
Spoiler
Use the grapling hook to tear down the face of Spliner out of the painting in the hallway. Combine it with the lab coat. Now you can enter the lab.

My turn??
Spoiler
Where did you find the blueprints? I need those! I'm at the end! ...I think.

You could even show my non-adventure, Castle of Fire. Or not. Do as you wish.
People actually play that game?  :=
Well, I was thinking that maybe this video could get it noticed.... GET IT'S NAME OUT THERE, OKAY!123??

lol, Ryan!

How the hell did he get on the field? He's hammered!

Icey, you say full 3D when it's not even close. The concept of what you are trying to accomplish here is neat, but I wouldn't want to be crossing my eyes for an entire game :P

The first one you only made the little part that says, "3D", depressed a bit and the arrow only came out a couple pixels.

The Kuma Story one is the best one, but there really isn't anything to shake a stick at here either...

And you didn't even do anything for the last one!

Try again, I say, and get it right the next time, or as Billy Joel would say, you should have gotten it right the first time. I think you've got a cool idea to show pictures like this of AGS games. Keep trying and edit some more. I'm sure they will get better with the more you do.

Just don't post them prematurely. Work on them until you get them right.

This, however, was a very simple game in terms of code and designed specifically as a XAGE port guinea pig, so more complex projects are probably less likely candidates.
YOU DARE BURST TEH BUBBLE!1?!/

You can only play AGS-made games on PC, not Mac, as far as I know. I know nothing about Mac computers, but I do know that there are Windows emulators for them.

People who download your game on their Mac would have to run them in an emulator.

I have heard of Willy Beamish here and there.. is it any good?

It is one of the best in my eyes and is certainly a great inspiration to me, game-play-wise. As a kid I would put on my backpack and walk around picking up various items, finding places and situations I could use them in, heh, sometimes pretending I was Willy in a sequel.

The game was, actually, what opened my eyes a bit more about various paths that you can take and the outcomes of your actions in real life. As a little kid you don't think about that stuff, post doing something completely stupid of course, then wishing you hadn't. I always wondered why more games don't have this Choose Your Own Adventure book feel to them.

Willy Beamish gave me a feeling of being able to do almost anything I wanted to. I loved just wandering around the house and reading the descriptions for everything and ignoring what I was supposed to be doing, waiting for the outcome.

It is nostalgic for me. Playing it for the first time as an adult, I can't help you there ;) It is a good game in a whole. Give it a try, anyway, and see if you like it. If you can find it to buy, I suggest the talkie!

This looks great. If and when this is completed, I will definitely play it. Like Mods, I never got to play it.

By the way, I think my friend Dualnames would be honored to help you with this ;)

Watching people be idiots on The Walking Dead has made me wish for a strategy game like Settlers or Civilization set in the zombie apocalypse.

Survive the initial chaos, escape the disaster zone while dodging ghouls and crazed survivors, befriend others to join your gang of survivors. Travel to a safer place or stand your ground. Build defenses and warning systems. Send out raiding parties to forage for supplies, weapons and equipment. Provide shelter, food and water for your group. Maintain morale and defend against hostiles, living or undead. Flee fires, toxic spills and the air force's last-ditch carpet bombing campaigns. Resolve internal group conflicts and determine what limits still exist on acceptable behavior and use of violence. Grow food, and figure out how to protect it against other, starving survivors. Decide on a system of government for your colony. Establish links with other pockets of survivors. Begin the long work of reconsolidating civilization and purging the land of zombies.

I always liked strategy games like that where you have to keep a society alive against various threats. I think this scenario would offer a cool twist on the genre.

Wow, you are almost describing a new zombie game for PC I read about about a year ago that was in production. It revolved more so around survivors of the zombie apocolypse. There are zombies in the game that you must defend yourself against, but the main aspect of the game is you and the people you meet.
