Good job to everyone that won. I haven't checked out the wiki yet, but I missed it. I was there for about a minute :( Better luck next time.

Heh, I just watched it again :) It's fine. You can use whatever voices you want, it's your playthrough, I don't mind! I enjoyed it very much ;D
#683
lol!

Although I loved it, the voices you chose are horrible! I couldn't stop laughing, but at the same time I was cringing every time either Kristen or I had things to say...lol. Niether of us sound anything like that ;) Great job on Matt's voice, though :=

I've got mixed feelings. I don't own a PS3, don't need one for anything anyway, so I will probably never play this game.

What I find that I like about it after watching a handful of videos on YouTube is that it's different. I've never actually seen anything like it before.
The graphics are good, but, whatever. I'm finding out more as days go by (or I should say, as games go by) that the graphics in games today piss me off. It seems that's the main focus of the industry today. But that's a whole other topic.
I hated how it boasted "cutting-edge" graphics, but yet, the animation of the lip syncing sucked. I actually felt oddly wierd and uncomfortable watching it (and distracted from what they were saying). It was no different from watching the people in RE2 & RE3 CGI cutscenes speaking. It worked just fine in Resident Evil, but here, I guess it's different because of the graphics being very life-like.
Like most of you have already mentioned, I don't like it being mainly QTE driven. Maybe for a few specific scenes where it would work out well, but not an entire game.
I also got the impression that it is very depressing. Another reason I would stay away from it. I was depressed for many years and it's not a good feeling - I don't need a game brewing up old emotions that don't exist anymore.

So anyway, I'm sorry if this adds to the "bashing", I really am not trying to. I was curious about what this game was, it looked interesting, I checked it out and here I am with my two cents.

Thanks, guys, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'm going to remake this demo first and make it the official episode 1, or part 1 or however I decide to name it, before any other parts are made.

And to all of you who did not like the need of checking things twice and having to do the chair puzzle in a specific order, piss off.

Just kidding. I'm going to fix the puzzles up for the official release and get rid of that. Like I had stated in a previous post, it was more of a test as to see how that way of puzzle solving would be excepted.

Thanks for playing and I'm looking forward to seeing a Let's Play! at some point ;)

\\--EDIT--\\
In the mean time, why not work on your hand-eye coordination and play CASTLE OF FIRE?

But at least when we show up we are fat, lazy and eating cheezeburgers.  Hells yeah!
So true.
Don't forget that we'll be bringing loads of ignorance towards the outside world too! We'd better stick together so we can talk about the things we know, like... like... like... er, forget it.

Anyway, m0ds, suck it. The time you spend on here typing foolish remarks could be time spent on FoY.

Awesome!

One game you should do is the horror game, Prodigal. One of the best AGS games I've played. It's lengthy and well-written. You never hear anything about it around here, but it's a great game. I think it deserves some recognition.

\\--EDIT--\\
It's not technically a LET'S PLAY, but there is a playthrough of it on YouTube already... :(
#688
Lesser known titles you say? Well how about my demo of Matt to the Future? I know it's only a demo, but what the hell?

Or even Castle of Fire? It's not an adventure game, but it would be fun to see other people play it ;)

On account of the weather, I might be there this year. We're getting a bunch of sleet and rain here and it's suppossed to be worse tomorrow. So I just might be at the ceremony this year :D

add to your hearts content or whatever you do on a wii.. never played multiplayerr
lol, Leafshade! I'll add you as soon as possible. I'll PM you mine. Playing online is fun, man. It beats the hell out of playing againts the AI over and over again (unless you get hackers of course).

The reasoning behind PMing the codes was so I would know who everyone is once they are...ah..."friended" or whateverthefuck happens.

I won't be around for this years awards either?!  >:( Damn... gone away this weekend. Have fun everybody.

Eight players on one system with two players on each kart... yes. But having to split the screen for more than four players, it would most likely prove to be more of a headache and confusing - the screen split four ways is bad enough.

Duals! What's the matter, bro? I can't wait to see who comes the closest to getting their bets all correct.

When voting time came I voted for the games that I thought needed to win in their catagories. Betting on who wins what just adds a bit more fun to the waiting process - hopefully absent of prejudice and opinions being taken the wrong way. I myself wouldn't want to see something fun and innocent like this blown up into something it wasn't meant to be originally.

QuoteWell it wont get more voters since the voting has finished :p
Who's to say it won't get more voters for next year? That is what I'm speaking of.

In any case, I like the idea. It reminds me much of my brothers betting on each football (American) game every season.

My F.A.G.S bets are in:
Note: These bets are not based on who I voted for...

Wow, this may be off topic, but, NsMn and Danman have avatars that are very much alike... didn't notice until now when they are side by side.

One thing that needs to be worked out in shape a bit is the McDonald's Arch.

The biggest thing that I notice that should be colored different is the reflections in the building's windows. It doesn't seem to match the color of the sky. In the reflections it looks as if there is a thunder storm on the horizon, but in reality, it's a nice day.

EDIT
Other than those two things, it's looking awesome!

I only played Double Dash once and hated it. I would definately give it another go if given the oppertunity, though. My favorites are Super Mario Kart (SNES) and Mario Kart 64. I'm actually suprised that they took out being able to have two players on one kart for Wii. That would have been really fun for online races.
#699
Bah! I'll have to practice mirror mode when I unlock it. It screws me all up on the online races if I'm not paying attention ;) For some reason I did better on the Rainbow Road mirror though...

Damn you, Phemar! Damn you to HELL! ...or at least your wireless connection ;)

I played a little bit online yesterday and ended up losing most of the VR that I had gained. It wasn't much anyway, not even 6,000 yet, but it was pretty frustrating, heh. I can get into first or second, at least third or fourth and then on the third lap when I can smell the finish line I get bombed, knocked off the edge, shrunk and/or squished right at the last second resulting in 8th to last place... every time it seemed.
