Well,Bryce is fairly simple and does not have a steep learning curve.Although in fairness to Vue,it doesn't have some of the new features. But still,I've been able to simulate almost every new feature there is in vue and most anyother 3d software.
I started using Bryce 2003 and here are some results if you're interested:

Let me know if you need any help getting started.

Take care Friend.

;)Yeah Flocking hi!I played Steppenwolf a while back.
Now that's a Game and a half!It seems it was done in Flash.
The thing I love the most about it is the 'complex simplicity'.
Creating a game like that in the blue cup would be a most pleasant experience don't you think?
The GUI interface was something you'd see in a 'professional' game.I tried creating something like that with Flash a while ago and believe me it was tedious!Customizing script alone could almost age you!But you also have to admit that the end result would always be beautiful considering Macromedia's reputation.
Anyways,we've been given a shortcut to making our wildest dreams come true.AGS.I suggest we make the MOST of it as we all have one life to live.Thanx.
hmmm...Steppenwolf,
nice game that.

I'd hate to be rude to Vue and its users, but might I suggest Bryce?
Vue is a great program please don't get me wrong! It's just that a lot of folks 'just' getting the 3d pre-rendered idea might want an Alternative.
I find BRYCE  to be a whole lot quicker and that could come in handy, considering the fact that the game creation process doesn't just consist of backround art. There's the programming to think about. So, using Bryce could cut down(impressively) your production time...and with a little Imagination, one could even create better Images.Once again,no offence to Vue or its users.I'm only creating awareness.Thank you.  :=

Hi all, I discovered the AGS blue Cup on a Cool Lookin' site and the Game being constructed was Equally Shocking! I think you should all check it out!
I think someone wants to be Adventurous with our Big Blue Cup!

Could you explain more concerning:  (invisible) character placement or with seting background position?
Thanx

360 degree backgrounds are... possible, but hard to script, not really worth it I think.

Why would it be hard to script? It can be easily done with (invisible) character placement or with seting background position.

Beginners' Technical Questions / 360 rooms?

I want to know if it were possible to make 360 panoramic rooms similar to those made by The Adventure Company.
