Ok as some of you may remember I did a front view of a character called Cheb looong time ago. Now I made his side view as well!!! (Getting back into pixel art! wee!!)



C&C as always welcome (esspecially on the side view)

I had an idea before reading this thread that might bring in some cash - but it's either a success or a flop. Set up a website, foleyforfree.com, offering a wide range of different sound effects free for download. Then they could be categorised, e.g: People, Machine, Nature, etc. Alternatively, you could download the whole database in one big chunk for a price of, say, £10. (Or limit sound effects available for free, and chuck in a whole bunch of others with the bundle?)

How long did it take you to work out this version of the sprite (if you don't mind my asking)?

You've done a great job with the high and mid colours but seeing as your drawing this image yourself you need to add in the area's where the light doesn't hit.

I will also add that the thing that impressed me most is ton of small details. Like the music fading out when you got text message and then fading in again, or like when you select the place where you want to edit the text you wrote and before you fully lift your finger beam tends to jump one letter forward/backward but iPhone ignores that fact and takes it back. It has tons of small things like that. I have to admit that when it comes to user expirience apple did really good job

I kind of got one almost free (but 2G) so price wasnt problem in my case. But I have to agree that it's overpriced (like everything by apple)

So...Do you have one? Do you like them? hate them? and why?

I have one and I'm really happy with it. There are only 2 things that bug me.
1. Compability only with special earphones (the plastic around jack has to be small enough to get into the hole in iPhone)
2. it's a bit too big after all

You can buy 4 though. It at least LOOKS better than 3d It's kind of short though and not too funny

Heheh. I tend to think outside the box too Like in Simon the Sorcerer 4 when you had to get the magic mirror but you couldnt take it out of room cuz there was a magic wall+4 and you only had blacksmith hammer+2.
So what would you do? Use the hammer on mirror of course and take just a shard into your pocket

Not everything in the gallery. You need to be registered so they know you're 18 yo or older so you can view mature art/photos

I told you his name is NOT Igor. Dr. Zipper just calls him that, he always says "that's not my name" and stuff like that
