Do we begin voting?
Not so long ago there was a post about keeping up with the deadlines so I think we all should stick with it :)

Much better I say. :D The only thing that bothers me is that the light goes too far. Look at the spot  between the edge of the wooden veranda, the flag and the tree. There's too much yellow there :)

yeah I know :) it shouldnt - I just did it really fast X3. Besides it should have sharp edges to go well with the cell shading style instead of soft transition :3

Here, another few minutes and you have some basic light from the lamp :P more accurate but not perfect (I didnt want to spend more time on it :P) I'm not happy with the ground lighting, It went too far in few places. But anyways - that's my point :P

The only problem by darkening the whole image is that the light from the lamp is darker too. So you have to leave it and make the rest darker and than adjust the light spots around the lamp (wall of the hut, reflection in the glass on the door, the plank-floor under the lamp etc.).

It's easy to make. You just make the darkening and bluish tone on separate layers and then erase them in the places where light from the lamp is visible :)

I think something more like this :) it's just to show my point - done in few minutes :P

I can try in my free time - it would be a good practice for me :) I'm ok with the coding part ^.^
I'm avalible here on the forums and under spacepaw@hotmail.com.
I'm from europe so mind that when it comes to the time :)

Edit: As for the exp - I'm good with programing in C# C++ and stuff, I examined the AGS scripting language and it's nothing hard to code :P I will do just fine :). Free time? Whenever I don't feel like doing my school projects ^^"

He could also look confused and say "errrr..." so you would have jack-er-pot X3

anyone else :D?
Yes me! In the first background I would desaturate the leafs a bit. They seem too green to me. maybe something more dark-greenish like in the second background?

OK, understantood. I'm reconsider using Jakerpot Games now. I just think that this name is a bit junkie, and don't have any clue for a logo, maybe a Jack pot ticket?  ;D
Maybe like jack-from-the-box but from the pot instead of box? :P

thank you spacepaw, but i will make a logo.
OBS: Was this a indirect way to tell me i'm lazy? Because i'm not!

Nah it wasnt that :) It's just very childlish to put so much attention to the name and logo of nonexistent team :) I would just wait if I were you :) The idea will come by itself, you dont need it right now so why bother?

truly free books

Just to make things clear - I would buy most books I download but many of them are out of my reach (never released in my country) or getting them here would cost me a fortune :/

But I buy books I can buy! Printed version is always more handy to use than the digital ^^ It's also some sort of respect to the authors too :)

maybe Logoless? That would save you time with the logo :)

Here you go - lovecraft. Found on ebookee.com in like 2 minutes :) It's really not this hard to find books there. Do you people have problems searching? I thought I made it clear how to look for valid links and ignore dead ones XD

Those meteors will look strange if static, should be animated in a loop of falling down :)

I like the perspectivless one best but the first one of the new 2 looks awesome too :)
I'm totally against about the last one though. It takes away it's soul :P

Also I would drop out the frame where the legs are really close toghether (almost like side view of just standing) or swap them with the more obvious lift-off you are going to make :) . One of basic rules of animation is that you shouldnt draw moments like that. like when the ball swings on the line you dont draw the frame when it's in the middle position (the frame itself could represent it just hanging down motionlessly). It suggests that it's static, not dynamic and gives a funny "something isn't right" feel to the animation.

I like the lack of perspective too but the white letters could have a shadow or outline so they wouldnt blend with the background :)
