I would tell you that I understood the sarcasm, but I probably shouldn't for fear of not sticking to the topic......

I'm full of ideas. But lay out the scenario a little if you want anybody to have a starting point visualizing where you are coming from.

Heh, I'm all for helping flesh something out, but to expect people to just come up with a good idea for a "Plant room" is grade A lame.

Why do you want a plant room? Where is it located and what is going on? Do you have anything that might give people an idea as to what you need help with?

Dood, make your own game.

I am not up on the new scripting yet, but it seems to me the easiest way would be to check the status with a timer, not with collision detection.

Although, things have changed a good bit since my last game.

I ink my stuff with Micron pens, they seem to work well for most of my art. The un-inked background is just there for me to test sizes and see how stuff looks.

I normally scan and then Hit Ctrl-M and do that swanky curves thing to adjust it and get rid of the stray stuff, but it didn't get rid of all of them. I just tried playing with contrast and levels and the colors, but regardless, I always am left with the pink fuzz around my dood. It's weird.

Heres my test background dealy. You can see the dood has the pinks around him still, that box around him was probably me just being stupid. I just filled in photoshop around him.

Okay, things are going well with the backgrounds and sizes now, but I've hit a problem with scanning and the antialised edges I get on my characters.

Does anyone know a faster way to clean up those fuzzy scanned edges other than going in and doing it manually?

Thanks for any help.

Whatever you do, make sure it ends with you all beating on a mansized pinata.

My first car was a run down BMW 320i, I loved that thing. It had been impounded and I bought it for the impound fee pretty much.

I will try and give this a shot. I have a hard time drawing fedoras though, heh.

Thanks man, I think you are right.  I've been fooling with drawing around 9x6 and that seems to work pretty good.

I'm wanting to draw and ink my backgrounds and hopefully my characters if I do another project. Problem I have is, I'm wanting to be around 640x400 for resulotion and I figured that equaled about 3.2 inches by 2 inches. Not very big to draw a background in. Not much room to detail on the character.

I went ahead and drew it at double size and then sized it down, and it looked okay. I'm hesitant to drw at three times the size for fear of making it look jumbled up.

But are there any tricks out there, or does somebody know a better way of doing this?

Shes' missing her legs and her hand!!1

I like it, and I am no pro but here is how I would attack it, problem wise.

Her chin is maybe a bit too small, and her neck should get thicker towards the shoulders, not how it is now.

The spinal line you drew isn't aligned with the neck.

I don't know what the reference girl looked like, but she seems to be lacking womanly contours on the front part of her body, if that makes sense.

Thats just my humble advice.

I was poking around today, thinking of starting up another Pirate Fry game, or finishing Stan and Sancho (which is almost done, I just don't really dig it anymore, or have the same amount of time or ability with ags as I used to), When I realized that I don't really remember how my games ended, or a good deal of things about them.

Anybody else have this problem or am I just goofy?

I drive a 1973 Dodge Dart Swinger (aww yeah)

Kinda looks like this, except it's a goldish color and not nearly as kept up.

I love you man.

I find that when I need a little pick me up creatively, it helps to crack open a bottle of Crown Royal and wander down to the rail road tracks and pay a destitute woman to vacuum my floor. Sometimes it helps if I throw ping pong balls at her while she does it....

I am the proud owner of three boys. Age 2, 4, and 9.

I am so set on having my lawn mowed until I am at least 50.
