I Played Final fantasy 1 when I was about 13 and got hooked on it, bought the strategy guide, and went apeshit over it.

I personally love 7. Although 8 was nice, the gf combat took ages and was kind of boring.

So....

Final Fanatasy 7
Scid
I don't have a favorite location..
and it has been so long since I have played it that I have pretty much forgotten most of it, heh.

General Discussion / Re: I want to play an MMO

I've played City of Heroes off and on. It is really a fun game and well put together, better than some of the others out there. That said, it has no economy, it has basically only fighting and missions. But still, top rate. Somewhere around the range of 15 american bucks a month, game cards are available for it if you don't have a credit card.

I've played Ragnorak online, which apealed to me because of it's low res super nintendo styled graphics. It wasn't much per month (like $12 USD) and you can sign up to get 15 days free if you want to try it out. It was a pretty fun game, the biggest problem being all the "bots" automated characters every where you turn that would walk up and start fighting your monster or grab your loot. Also, people didn't seem to be very social.

I played Anarchy Online a bit when Yakspit posted about it, but really, it is a dying game. Try it out only if you have more time than you need.

I am currently playing a free game called FLYFF. A lot of the players on the game that I have met have come over from WOW and say it compares. It has everything I would expect from a pay game, except they don't charge monthly fees. You can buy stuff like outfits and crap for your character from their shop, but you are never required to put any money into the game at all. It has kinda cutsey graphics (although high quality) and the standard medievel class selections.

How does that add to this thread in any way?

Can you give Fluke tips or something, or is it just there so we can go "OMFG thats cool!"? If it's the latter start your own thread maybe?

The Maxx was cool, back when I was a kid, why the hell is it still around to be made into a movie?

And if you are saying that Sin City had better acting than UltraViolet, that is frightening. Sin City had about the worst acting out there, I think thats what they were going for really....least I hope so. It's pretty much equivalent of Harry Potter acting....

Yay! This is awesome news.

The original was the best, and it was always my goal to get a big ass warship and pack it full of unhappy pirates and cannons and go ransack the biggest town I could get. Then I realized you could do way better with a smaller more manueverable ship that didn't get blown to hell on the way to the port....

Pirates Gold was good too, and so is the newest one, but it appears to be way too easy in my mind, once you get all the special swords and a good frigate you are set for the game.

I have read it, although I cannot remember the plot whatsoever right now, so it must not have been that good, heh.

It's always better in my opinion to make your own game idea, maybe you could draw inspiration from the book, but still do your own thing?

Back when we first started these boards, didn't it used to list their names? I was Emilio Estevez or one of those Sheens for awhile if I remember right....

I like the style. All in all it is a nice picture.

Things that bother me are the gradient for the sky, something more subtle might be in order. And there is an odd blurryness around the tower.

Was it just me or was it true that the post pictures implied you're all BORED?

All mitteneers are specially trained to practice bored faces at every photo opportunity.

Either that, or they have been smoking too much of the hippy lettuce.

You may need to clear your browsers cache.

I still have the box for the old floppy version, but I lost the map....so, it's pretty much lame o try anything in it. It runs god awfully fast anyway.

Pirates Gold has so many bugs as to be unplayable at points, and the newer one is good, but too easy in my mind.....You just can't go back I guess...

He hasn't been logged on since the 18th, you might need to go to a second place winner if this takes too long.
