Hey everyone, I'm doing an Indiana Jones game (as many of you know) and also wanted to do a separate talkie version. I need voices for Indy, Marcus (who only plays a small part), Indy's Dad, the villian (who is an american nazi), some new characters named Jonathan Tobias and Bryce Nelson, the girl, Jessica Alexandria, and some extras. 

Just record your voice (if you sound like the character) with these lines:

Hi, I'm planning on starting a Young Indiana Jones adventure game and need some animators, bg artist, whatever. The animators aren't too important unless they want to help get my game done faster. I suck at backgrounds, so I need some people for that. If the people working on my other Indy game can do bgs for this, that would be cool too.

I started work on an indiana jones game a few months ago. I'll give the basic plot outline here, but you can read the whole plot at www.freewebs.com/yodaman11111/indianajones.htm

Anyhoo, the plot is: Indiana Jones goes looking for the legendary Hand of Midas with his dad (who waits in the plane). Indy meets his old archrival, Roberts, in the cave where he finds the Hand. In the game, there will be two things; give the hand to Roberts, or trick him and keep it. when Indy gets back to the US, Marcus Brody tells him about another artifact, The Cloak of Elijah. Indy wants to look for the Cloak, but his dad wants him to look for the Dead Sea scrolls. indy goes with his dad and picks up some friends on the way. Later on, Indy finds out that the WScrolls tell the location of the Garden of Eden, which you need the Cloak to get to. There are lots more details, but you'll find those out later. what I ment was YOUR charactor isn't afraid of snakes. in the first chapter, he goes past a bunch of 'em and not no sweat, but much less then is typical indie

I don't think either of you know Indy. For one you can't spell his name right  and second; he IS afraid of snakes. And what do you mean YOUR character isn't afraid of snakes? Are you talking about Indy or what? And with this Indy game, I have started making it, using LucasRipper. A lot of the backgrnds though are going to be handmade. I just did rough copies of the hand-made ones and will use those paint programs you suggested to clean them up a bit.

Alright, I'm getting pretty good at sprites and I figure out how to do basically anything with AGS. Except I can't do backgrounds. Should I use PAINT to do the backgrounds also?

Thanks for all those downloads. I tried to do some Indy sprites based on Indy's "look" in FoA but they turned out really sucky. How do you FoY guys get sprites that good? Do you draw sprites on paper and scan 'em into a bmp image or do you use windows paint or what?

I am at some point going to make an Indiana Jones game. I have noticed that all the Indy fan-games use ripped sprites from fate of atlantis or last crusade. How or where can I get/download these?

Anyways, I SUCK at doing backgrounds/character sprites and was wondering if someone would want to work on some with me? 

I need some help to create a GUI (not a specific type, just one that will work). I know how to change the size and stuff and right now, I just need to know how to make an inventory bar (probably Monkey Island style). Thank you 

Hello, I am pretty good at using AGS (I figured out how to do some scripting and stuff) but was wondering if someone would help me with either a fantasy-style game (I have the storyline, go to www.freewebs.com/yodaman22222 to see what it's about), a game based on the movie "Napoleon Dynamite", or and Indiana Jones game. I am okay at drawing sprites (average at drawing characters), and was wondering if someone would help do some sprites and/or backgrounds, be aware that this is just for personal enjoyment and  I probably won't pay you to do this.

Well, I'll try making this game by myself but I need to know two things: 1. How do you draw sprites (particularly character sprites) for AGS I looked in the manual and it doesn't tell anything. 2. What is the best paint program for drawing backgrounds etc.? I only have PAINT and it sucks 

I tried doing stuff with AGS but it is too hard. Whe I tried doing the scripting, the whole program messed up. Anyhoo, the real reason for this whole thread is for someone to make a game using my idea.

No, someone would make the game using my idea. I SUCK at AGS stuff. I don't even know how to do sprites
