The Xbox 360 sucks. It's not even next gen. Wii is actually an African word, believe it or not...

It's gonna have better features than the PS3 or XBOX360.

You could always make there be 500 inventory items (or whatever amount of max money you're going to have) and remove or add an inventory item for however many you have. :)

A'ight, I'm sending you some voice samples/auditions/whatever you want to call it. Also, if you need music, I can compose for you.

Okay, is this gonna be a one time webcartoon, or a series, or what?

Howdy.
I recently finished up an episode of my soon to be started
web-cartoon, "The Adventures Of Bob, The Baked Bean" which details the life of a baked bean. Word.
I currently need 5 voice-actors for the following parts:

"Bob, The Baked Bean"- Bob is a baked bean who escaped his life as an inanimate bean by jumping off a piece of toast, as a knife came towards him. He jumped through the dog-door of the house he was in and began a life as a civilian bean.

"Peece the Greenbean"-One of Bob's friends, Peece is a string bean who has an optimistic view of life.

"Joe the Coffee Bean"- Another of Bob's personal friends, Joe is a coffee bean who is claustrophobic, due to his mother being put inside a coffee machine and crushed when he was a young age.

"The Aliens" - A group of cloned aliens who monitor Bob, Joe and Peece constantly through hidden cameras.

"Pazz the Assassin"- Pazz is an assassin who was hired by a shady organization to kill Bob, for reasons unknown"

If anyone can help provide a voice for one or more of these characters, please PM me, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Flukezy.
Show me the script and I'll do it.

I know these guys at my school who are addicted to it. Look for packrat369, that's the guy. I hate maplestory, it's such a large download.

Yes, in my first post I had said that I was using Prog's Roger sprite for now, but I edited it and got rid of it.
Sorry, I never noticed that. Anyways, looks good.

Yeah, it's a good sprite. Simple, but good. His right (my right, not his right) leg is bent a bit strangely. Is it supposed to be like that? Other than that, he looks pretty good for a game. If you want him to look less drunk, I suggest you change his eyes to look less... stupid. I agree with your last post- it's not worth it to even post something to be critiqued when people don't tell you what you want to know.

Are you the only voice actor for this? Congrats on your (correct me if I'm wrong) first game.

It isn't to rate the site, it's for those that choose to do so, to inform anyone that may download or play their game the content within...

I start with 3 categories Textual, Cartoonish, and Realistic which tells them the graphical type of the game. You then add the subcategories such as Violence, Blood and Gore, Sex, Language, whatever. So anyone thinking of downloading or playing your game will know when they see R:VBL that this game will have realistic violence blood and language.

I'm not even going to attach an age to any of these ratings. If anything they are for informational puposes only, because I know that people will download what they want, since there isn't a real way to regulate it.

Oh and I actually had the idea for S for scary, younger children may be frightened by content.

So in the end, it really is just an informational rating system.

So what would C:L look like?
#617
Then why do most of you who try to make games make graphic adventure games, not IF?

I dunno, in games like Gateway II you can use the mouse to string together sentences rather than type them in. I find this approach better since you know exactly what verbs are available.

Yeah, but Gateway 2's a graphic adventure game. Radiant: I'm not bashing text parsers, I'm bashing the whole genre. :=  And I'm not bashing it for it's word recognition, I just don't prefer the genre.

It seems like most of your favour text adventures- why is that?
#619
Looks good, mon. Keep up da work cuz Jah live.  :=  No seriously, they look great.

One other thing I hate about text games is that for the most part you have to type in a specific thing. Pick up or take, anyone?
