Alans last Draconian build seems to be supporting windowed gamma control.
Could this be an option?

EDIT: I tried compiling with draconian 7 and it looks promising. Any known issues with this build?

I realized that all my backgrounds and sprites were made on a pretty bright screen, which might leave some players "in the dark" so to speak.
It looks like a gamma slider might be a quick fix but only if people can use it (obviously).
So, when the manual says:
Quote"..whether the player's PC supports changing the screen's gamma control settings"
..does this mean that it won't work in window mode -period, or will it only work on some machines?
If so: are non-gamma-setting -systems common?

No. I believe the instability was fixed in the latest commits to the git.
No. It was fatal error, which prevented game from starting up, that was fixed.
...which means that it's still pretty much the same unstable port that monkey was talking about...?

@DiPerla: Is this method using the same (unstable?) port that monkey was talking about?
Good job anyhow.

Congrats on the release!
Will make a purchase in the near future.

Ah. I thought maybe there was some technical issue that I didn't get.
Thanks Mods.

Thanks Crimson.
I still don't get why SCI would be bad practice in english only games, though.
#108
@Mods: Sorry for being slow and ignorant but I didn't quite get all that...
Are the fonts that comes in WFN-files SCI fonts, or something else?
And why is SCI a bad idea when going commercial, if you don't plan on translating?

Anyway, I second Radiants request.

Background looks really nice. Was it made for this project or is it borrowed from somewhere?
Had to run in a window with no filters on my laptop, for some reason.
Character art/animation looks very well made too but the window mode makes everything... well, tiny.

Yup. Seems to be working. Thanks again.

Would that change the actual hotspot or do I have to call this when the inv item is selected?

Edit: I got it semi-working. Looks like it will work one it's integrated with global script.

Thanks Khris!

Is there a way of setting a cursor hotspot in-code, equivalent of "iItem.CursorGraphic=123"?

I am using two different sprites for an inventory object and its cursor. The "Use selected inventory graphic for cursor" -mode is on.
Setting "CursorGraphic" seems to center its hotspot instead of keeping the one set in the editor. (Oops! Guess I was wrong about this. It keeps the editor settings.)
Workaround, anyone (other than having a huge cursor sprite)?

Thanks.

Thank you. That's encouraging.
I thought I was the only one not frowning over 320x200.  :-D

Congrats on alpha and publisher and whatnot!
Couple of questions:
What resolution is this? 320x240?
I assume you're going for a commercial release. Will there be voiceovers?

Everything is looking very good so far. Especially the backgrounds.
I bet you smell good too.

First of all: Great poster/box art.
I agree with Cat as well.
Don't know if Stupot was joking but imo, adding your own name kind of makes sense. It's more a question of humility :-D
I think it looked more stylish without the border but maybe it's needed for readability.

I'm pretty sure that I copy pasted that line from the example in the first post. The missing eTypewriterDisplay parameter was kind of my point.  :-D
Oh well. Never mind. It works now anyway. Any ideas about my question btw?

Similar request:
I'm trying use the module for displaying speech but fail to implement any kind of skip-speech.
Is there any way of manipulating "TYPEWRITER_MAXIMUM_DISPLAY_TIME" or "delay" or something?

Also:
Code: AGS
Typewriter.Type (5, 185, 3, 65535, eFontNormal, "Write your text here[[AND WATCH IT TYPE ITSELF", eTypewriter_ShortSpace, aPop);
..seems obsolete after Dualnames new functions. Right?

Edit: Forgot how to post code properly. Sorry.
